Notable traits: A Born Leader. He was bred to command, as said by his instructors when he was a young child. Good spirited, great with a wrench, he knows his way with women, except the ones that want him dead or attempt to kill him themselves. Quite the womanizer as all his friends know. He's an honest man, a little too honest maybe, he will hurt your feelings or bring you up with his words and people have said that his presence alone inspires greatness from other marines. Judging from his looks one can tell that he has been through a lot of hardships.
Persona: Xur is the general idea of a good soldier, having been born into a military family, showing great aptitude with leadership on and off the battlefield, and seemingly able to keep a cool head under dire circumstances. He is able to assess situations faster than some of the most accomplished analysts and devise a way to either defend or counter-attack. By the time he's 40 he could be the one of the most successful commanders this military has ever birthed. He would show insubordinate behavior if given orders that would jeopardize his lead.
Basic appearance: He stands about 6ft 5in tall, athletic toned build , fairly brown skin, scars along his back and a single long scar going along his left cheek. He has a long scar going across his chest from a ''Bug Hunt''. His right arm is a custom prosthesis with a chrome steel plating, decorated with a black gloss and a rosary necklace clinging around it. Early Life: Xur was born on mars, a planet thought to be too barren for life until the great expansion of 2032. The large powers of earth began a space race to colonize Mars and claim territory upon its land. During this time the U.A(United Americas) established a colony known for its mining and trading of rare goods. Red Pegassi was the name of this colony. Xur was the last born son of a Military Commander thus made his life more dignified than most children living on the barren world. Though he was considered a high born he spent his time in the slums, learning the trade tongue, getting into fights, and befriending the workers. He knew what his status was amongst these beings but he preferred to be among them instead of the snobs of Upper Pegassi. By the age of 16 he accompanied his father on a expedition to a northern colony in the Hesperia Planum territories. There he met a young girl playing in the sand, out of curiosity Xur asked what was the reason she was sitting in the sand, and her only reply was ''Its red like the blood of my enemies'', Xur only chuckled before sneezing the dust being kicking up by the child. During those times the northern territories were a war torn land, the air was barely breathable since the terraforming plant was out dated and daily living was a major struggle. He read about the carnage on information hubs, then later saw a Enlistment ad for the UA federation.

Military History: Serving with the Federation Mobile Infrantry right after boot since he was two months shy of 18, he saw a great many things, some of which would cause a man to take his own life. At the age of 20 he began his service upon the S.S.C Hell Fire, and has been deployed on many missions, he made friends, and then he lost friends, soon he was the only one of his original team that was left, being deployed on missions to various planets that homed a carnivorous insectoid species called the Arachni. The ability to stay alive during those times, his superiors saw as skill, and not luck, thus giving him a promotion to corporal and leading his own team. During this time he met a pair of marines that kept his view on things clear when the shit hit the fan, these two marines would much later in his career become respected members of his unit, Lewis Calhoun and Kelly Mason. They quickly became acquainted with each other, as their paths crossed a few times during the ''Raid of Klendathu''. A time where he experienced his first orbital shock drop into the heart of the enemy territories. It was a bloody mess for those who didn't stick with his group as they mowed down the bugs in droves. There he saw Lewis fighting off a pack of bugs while Kelly tried to patch a leg wound on herself. Xur quickly broke off from his team and assisted them, robusting his way through a few bugs to reach them, he asked Lewis to grab Kelly while he will covered them as they fell back to the main battle group. Shooting the incoming bugs with precision he found his M41a Pulse Rifle out of ammo. As he was about to change the clip a larger insect saw its opportunity and slashed Xur cross the chest, though in pain he quickly used his master-key shotgun attachment to dispatch the insect. They kept each other alive on that hell hole planet, that war was won later along that timeline. At the age of 24 he was a battle tested trooper, having both experience and a high success rate under his belt. He was approached by his own father, Colonel Xerphen to be apart of a black operations team code-named Jack Knife. During this time he has went on 11 black ops mission being the only one of his team to live after 6 also gaining the nickname ''Ghost''. In his days running black ops missions he met a military doctor who served in the USCM named Mark Hanford who was stationed upon the N.M.V Sulaco, who later became one of the founding members of Xur's Banter Squad. Mark also had the honor of overseeing Xur's prosthetic procedure with the help of another good friend Armandow Harrow whom Xur has befriended during his shore leave to Mars where he also ran into the now teenage girl from the Northern territories of Hesperia Planum. To his surprise she remembered him and they quickly became reacquainted with one another. She called herself Red, like her hair, and the dust that clung to it. By the age of 26 he was selected to accompany a Federation Higher-Up named Harrison Ford VII ,who was next in line to become the the next Sky Marshall thus making him the target of numerous assassination attempts. Xur has been able to keep him alive, and even took the incoming fire of a Mark IV Long-shot Energy Rifle thus resulting in the loss of his right arm, which later has been replaced by a very pricey but custom chrome steel prosthetic. By the age of 27 he transferred from the Federation to the USCM to serve upon the N.M.V Sulaco where he began his service as a Staff Sergeant, leading faces old and new as leader of Bravo Company, whom later became a very famous team known as The Banter Squad. Xur and his team has seen a great of many things together, being one of the only teams to have been deployed on over 50 missions, and displaying a very low casualty rate. He has taken a few rookies under his wing as well who late become specialists in their fields, such as Jeser Auschwitz and Jim Sanders. Banter is now disbanded but the memory still lives on with the rise of a splinter cell organization code-named Sanctum, founded and lead by Xur's old friend Joseph Skinner. Having over 100 missions deployed, and staggering success rate, Sanctum is known as one of the best counter-forces ever assembled, until it disbanded later.

Family Relations: His father Xerphen Dergens II(Deceased), his mother Arrellis Dergens (age 61), his two brothers Furvorus(40),and Aronus(43), and lastly his sisters Elliona(39) and Marina(27). Xur himself has 2 twin daughters, Erina(10), and Madylen(10). Ex wife Lydia was targeted by rebel insurrectionists as a pull to make Xur give a lump sum of his family fortune. She was killed after Xur refused to negotiate with terrorists and as a result they killed her. His children are now taken care of by his younger sister Marina as their guardian while Xur is away.
