Born on Mars, to Garret and Aria Trovato, April was raised in Kingdom City on Mars, being taught in private school, and receiving top marks until her sophomore year
of high school, where she was expelled for possession of alcohol on campus, and for several anger fueled outbursts at other students, Being enrolled in two more schools after that point, Trovato finally finished her schooling, and applied to the Kingdom Surgical Institute on Mars, where she finished her training. After graduating around the middle of her class at the Kingdom Surgical Institute, she was employed aboard a civilian vessel, the Rubicon, for approximately one year, before the ship was attacked by pirates, resulting in the death of roughly seventy-five percent of the crew. At this point, April's alcoholism really manifested, and she fell into a downward spiral, as she thought the deaths of the Rubicon's crew were on her shoulders. Staying unemployed for a year, April was picked up by a USCMC Recruiter, who checked her records and offered her employment in the Corps, where she was shuffled around several vessels for two years, before being placed aboard the USS Sulaco, an outer colony patrol vessel, roughly two weeks ago.
