Zoey Lisile
Full name: Zoey Renna Lisile
Nickname(s): Blue, but only by the worst possible people in existence.
Age: 24.
Birth date: 24 years ago from now, March 12th.
Gender: Female
Position: Squad Medic
Persona: Zoey is a complicated woman with emotions she hates having, the growing anxiety of nearing pulse rounds and battle closing in. The crushing weight on her shoulders when a squadmate in her charge succumbs to their wounds. Enjoying the squad banter on the shuttle ride down, or when watching the forward operating base. The flash of adrenaline when in combat. Her fear of death. Despite all of this, she attempts to keep a calm mind about things, and often hides her fears and anxieties behind a mask of sarcasm when confronted. Zoey however believes her duties come first, and will put her job at times before her own safety, but will not blindly charge into death hoping for the best.
History: At a young age freedom of expression was completely censored in the Lisile household. Eat your dinner. Do not leave the estate. Focus on your schoolwork. The young girl never got any chance to express her creativity, stifled by an overbearing parental front grooming their daughter to take up the family name. It wasn't her life she was living, it was the one they chosen for her. This caused the young Lisile to turn to books, reading them and using them as a desperate escape from the stark reality of studying, social practices, business practice, the etiquette of a proper lady. Well she was financially secured in a family so wealthy comprehending the vast funds a pointless endeavor. Zoey felt poor of soul and mind. No friends. Private schooling. No connection to the outside world other than family selected teachers and stuffy tutors. This was her life for nineteen years. A prisoner in the most comfortable cell. Posters for the USMC sparked the thought of escaping her responsibilities. Everyday the thought manifested until it was all she could think about. Running away to join the military and experience greatness! No training necessary! We train you! This is when her life changed drastically. Free from it all, and now serving a government military. Zoey cut her hair short, and dyed it bright colors, probably due to some pent up need to be unique, a fervent desire to express herself the only way possible. Bootcamp for her was not easy, but she relished the challenge, persevering through it all, and everything to earn her spot as the lowest ranking worm on the military food chain, and she couldn't be more proud.
Relations: On a platonic level she has a few friends she's grown to reliably trust to not empty magazine rounds into her back in a push, and those are the best friends you could ask for. Xur Durgens for one has been among her first, and longest standing 'friends' in the USMC. Well not exactly besties, he was among the first people to help her acclimate to USMC life, mostly through the worst jokes a marine can endure, but in the end it was an endearing growth.
Sanders, or Twitch well the most eccentric of marines has yet to actually be anything but brave, competent, and only mildly annoying.
On the not so platonic level, Alisa Reis is her biggest crush, uguu. She's saved Zoey's life more times than she's now cared to count. Zoey's lack of a growing social life other than proper etiquette, and living among gorilla marines has made it difficult to properly express these feelings that rest so firmly in her heart. Eventually her awkward affections broke enough ice to develop into an actual relationship that she holds very dear.
Basic appearance: Zoey is a Caucasian girl with large blue eyes, she falls on the petite side in all things, and is in fact boarding on a tomboy. She's not busty, she's not curvaceous, she's just average. Her hair is cut short just below the ears, The hair is styled in a pixie cut, dyed in a vibrant cyan blue. Her rich upbringing leaves her pretty devoid of the nicks and scars of life.
Likes: Pizza, banter, harmless jokes, recoil, mediiics.
Dislikes: Conflict, the calm before the storm, bleeding. It sucks.
Strengths: Very team oriented, she understands the heavy pulse rifle might be better in the squaddies hands than her turret dragging ones. Zoey also knows very instinctively when there's a poor engagement, knowing when to cut the losses and retreat and try from a new flank or with a different tactic.
Weaknesses: Actually being confronted about her feelings, and general anxieties. Zoey due to her upbringing is often second guessing herself, not quite sure if what she's about to do is the right call. Hesitation, afraid to risk her squads lives with a decision - and general her physical strength is nothing to write home about. A young, short, slender woman from a wealthy upbringing.
---
Well, this is like a basic rough draft that will probably get edited once I proof read it / feel like it. I'm lazy, but I'd like criticism and stuff, so give that but pls make it constructive. Thanks!

Haven't seen ya around that much, but I like it. See you on the battlefield.
I play as this guy, proudly being dismembered by extraterrestrials since 2015.
Sometimes I might play other guys, you never know.

Well it was actually some of the most fun I had as an MP. I was hoping I wasn't going to be firing squaded by a horde of marines, and instead the alternative was much preferred. Also I really didn't want to actually bring up a squad leader to scold them for being a naughty marine.Skycave1 wrote:7/10 would reverse arrest near the pod again.

Well it was pretty funny having a whole damn squad follow me to get Xur free, then doing that reverse arrest. It's a bad habit of finding ways out of security. But, you gotta give credit to Issac

I appreciate it when people try to get creative, it leads to interesting roleplay and I really would rather not disrupt an entire squad of their leader. OOCly at least. Zoey would, fucking monkeys. >:VSkycave1 wrote:

It was the chest, with lead buckshot. No one was around, and we had just got off the shuttle. Never forget.

Here's to Alyssa accidentally bashing you with a looted shotgun.
I should get out of the habit of carrying a weapon in hand.

I think that guy got permabanned that round too.
Assholes just sitting in medbay well he's shooting right outside the door. But it was worth it to go into Xur's shady past.

Shady is correct. Not even his closest friends/squadmates know the full Xur.

Remember that one time where I tried medevacing you to the Rasputin, only to get Ravager decapped; forcing you to fight it off, only to end up dying WITH the Rav because of a hidden mine?
Good times.
