A Guide on How to be -denied- Accepted as a Predator

Before we divulge into the theory of making a great application and getting ACCEPTED I need to put out a disclaimer, I am not a predator, and all applications are decided by the Big Kahunas, this is a guide to help people, not get always get 100% of people that apply approved. Now for the Guide

BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT MAKING An APPLICATION! WE NEED TO GO THROUGH A CHECKLIST!

Request your notes: See how the staff think of you, to see if you are not a shitler

Be a goody two shoes: Roleplay, make your name known for good reasons, follow orders, and make the round interesting for others. Do not break any rules, self-explanatory.

Follow the requirements of the application.

Become active in the game, as well as the forums, if not active, make an effort to become more active during and after your app.

Have you done this, Great your on your way, trust me that's the easiest part.

Marine Name (so we know who you are, if you play alien mostly, state that here): Insert it here

Name of the character you want to be whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name): [insert your pred name here]

Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor? You should absolutely know this life your name follow it like your life depends on it.

Character background (A very BRIEF description of your predator's background): Alright here is where this most apps go SOUTH! Your background, I will be going into a lot of detail in this in another section, but here are the basics, Forget the brief part, make it as long as you want, within reason, make sure it is what you want your character to be like, and make sure it makes sense and follows the lore. A good and the source I use to research is. http://avp.wikia.com/wiki/Yautja_(Predator) almost everything you need is here about everything, Marines, Xenos, Preds, it's great. Also. do not make it two to three lines, you're going to not be accepted.

How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)? Another area where Pred's are shit on, you need to make your character a "special" snowflake in a way, any, it can be minor can be major, for a while I wanted to be a Hound Master ((a pred that uses hellhounds)) sadly I found out I can't ((add it back in REEEE)) so I went back to my drawing board making it up again, it depends on how YOU want to play, so make it special, not some plain old ritz cracker

Why should we whitelist you? Go into detail, why should YOU be whitelisted, think of at least three good reasons, besides, I am a good RPer, I have been here a while, etc, no one gives a shit, people are going to judge you on your RP as a character anyways, saying you a "good" does not mean that. Think of three good reasons that apply to you alone, and expand on them, this will help a lot.

Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)? Fairly obvious

Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why? Again obvious.

Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor? Again obvious its No Yes no one is exempt, not even the big khaonas.

Not that we have this filled, let's look at good and bad applications, to see why they may or may not have been accepted. ((TO BE CONTINUED! A very short background, as said, most of the people who are accepted have long ones that follow the lore properly.

The general consensuses:

Do not be a shitler in game

Know the lore and have a good back story about one to three paragraphs

Have good forum activity.

Have decent RP skills

Meet the requirements of the Application! A big one!

My tips: if people don't like you, find out why and address their concerns, it helps a lot, and can clear up the confusion.

Be active in the game, be noticed for the right reasons, if you have a good round, people are sure to notice.

Do not be "uptight" "jittery" and have it on the back of your mind. I do it, everyone does, it's like, who +1 or -1 who said this who said that Calm down, take a breath and take your time address questions, and -1's or +1's, being active on your post shows you are really interested.

And for general, follow the rules, roleplay guidelines, and have fun, it's why we play video games in the first place. Filthy no life people playing on a Byond Usually and shitty client REEE get a life nerds.

Lotsa players make the mistake of going with the boring "hunt worthy game" playstyle. While it's totally fine try to specilize yourself more. Maybe you only hunt with your blades, maybe you like to infiltrate and frighten, or maybe you like to duel in a specific way. Even though most of the time your gonna be hunting worthy game, the playstyle can make or break a new app

Well, ummm, I mean this is basically true, but acting as if the entire application process is a sort of strategy, kinda makes the Whitelist, less of what it actually is. I agree that most parts of this are accurate in how you should make an application, but this is what you find out by reading Denied, and Accepted applications.
I feel like this would just make people feel as the Predator Whitelist is for like the elite, for people who are better then better, which is not true at all, it's suppose to separate the people who genuinely care enough to commit to the whitelist/character, and roleplay aspect of the whitelist. From the people who just want to kill because XDXDXDDXXDDD, the reason why you can reapply (If application was denied) is so that you can learn from the mistakes of your previous application, and make it better. This guide would just make it so that their application would get accepted 1st time around, but these are just my 2 cents.

I am trying to help people be accepted that first time as you said, it's not for XDXDXDXDXDXXDXDXDXD at all, but to help people get accepted, the first time so they do not have to wait three months to reapply, if they truly want to be an elite, it's learned, and the people that messed up will be denied or be kicked from predator. which is why I made it, to help people who need help with its help.
