First, let's start from the begging, runners, the retards of the hive:
"How does one play runner? What's an runner? y r xeno so op?" This are all common question among marines. If you're playing a runner, you have to think of yourself as a gnome. Why? Because you don't have an idea how fast you truly are. You're fast as fuck boy. But with great fastness comes low health, and trust me, your health is REALLY LOW, you have the lowest health outise of larvas. This doesn't mean you're easy to kill, however. If you are full on life, you can survive a mine to the face and not be on crit, but where there's mines, there's marines, so if you're stunned by a mine, you'll probably be dead.
As runner, you have access to an ability called Pounce and, when activated, you jump to where you're clicking (toggle on shift clicking or mddle clicking, by the way), wich haves many uses. The first, and most obvious one is to knock down marines.Marines and survivors pounced on are thrown into the ground and drop what they were holding. This is your bread and butter. You have to understand that, as a runner, your biggest and most powerfull weapon is the marines. No, seriously, run into a pack of marines, run through them and pounce on one on two. Most marines will be bleeding and on crit due to how serious the ff gets. One round i ran from west to east of the nexus, and they killed their only medic.
Your high movility doesn't come only from your high speed though, as runners don't care even the slightestst for tables, barricades, sandbags or anything of that sort and just go straight throught them. Watch for smartgunners, if there's one nearby and the squad is smart, they will allow him to fire and kill you really fast. You can also use your pounce to get away from dangerous situations (watch your plasma), stunlock survivors who try to get away and play the floor is lava with your sisters. You also have the ability to hide, wich to activate you'll have to toggle the verb hide. This will slowly drain plasma, but it will put you behind objects like those tables and barricades at nexus. Change where your runner looking so you're completley behind objects, wich can be used to set up ambushes. When upgrading, you become faster, gain 50 plasma each level, your slashes deal more damage and, have higher tackle chance and you have slightly more health. Ancient runner gets blown up faster than a ravager, but you'll be faster than a pred. Ancient runner is retarded, you can run everywhere as fast as you can, make everyone shoot eachother and always live at 1 health, but you relay on marines being retarded, wich might not happen every round.
TL;DR, you're keemstar, run through marines, and remember that it ain't about how hard you're hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward through marines, and don't be pointing fingers saying "I ain't where i need to be because of larva (2), or Young Hunter (420)" OR ANYBODY, cowards do that, and that ain't you. Pounce is a slight stun and you can cut off a leg in 3 hits if you're lucky enough, but don't count on it.
Now, onto hunters, the slightly less retarded sisters:
To be a hunter, you first have to be a runner, but you have to understand, even if they play similar, THEY ARE DIFFRENT IN MANY ASPECTS. If Runners are Keemstar, Hunters are escaped convicts, dangerous, could be everywhere, they're blackAnd they pounce on you when you less expect it for some SURPRISE BUTSECKS. First of all, hunters can turn invisible. You know that as human there's a little icon near the intents that says "Run"? Well, as xeno, it's changed to "Hunt" when running, and if you click it, it will go to "Stalk". This is completley useless unless you're a hunter. If you're stalking, you become transparent and harder to detect. Keep in mind, marines can still see you if they aren't retarded, but most of the time they are. To make the most out of it, I recommend sitting somewhere where your sprite is covered by something like a weed sack, blood and bullets, or a downed marine and NOT MOVE. If you see a marine, don't move your sprite even in the slighless, unless you are SURE it won't be noticed. You can still pounce while invisible, slash while invisible and everything else, but there's a fundamental diffrence between a runner pounce, and a hunter pounce. Hunters have a lockdown, not a pounce. If you succesfully pounce someone as a hunter, hey will be on the ground FAR longer than if you were a runner. 2 seconds vs 0.10 seconds. The problem is that, of those 2 seconds, there's 1 you won't be able to move. This makes hunters imposible to 1 v 1. Hunters deal more damage, have more health but they are slower than runners. To be an efective hunter, you have to be patient. Go to a corner that marines have already passed, chances are a stragler will go by that you can BUTSECKS on, but watch out, if you're going to BUTSECKS someone, make sure that they are alone, or that you aren't alone. Being pounced on by a hunter is a death sentence if you're alone. When you upgrade, you get more health, tons of damage, and your pounce recharges much faster. To play the hunter, you must become one with the invis. Live it, love it, be it. You have to play far more carefully, but it's fun as fuck to BUTSECKS someone when invis, have him scream for help and cut both his legs so he can only crawl away while you dance on top it's bleeding carcass.
TL;DR You're solid snake, go unnoticed, pounce when no one is around and BUTSECKS the PO and lonley scouts when no one is watching, cut his legs and watch him suffer.

Tell me what you thought about guide and give me some more advices I can put on the guide.
This was buffed, but it still takes a solid 2 minutes before regaining all health.Lucius Jones wrote:Forgot to mention runners plasma recharges SO FUCKIN' SLOW! It recharges the same rate as they EVOLVE. So, don't get injured because you need to wait for healing, while not regaining plasma, and then Regain That plasma you lost. A Near-crit runner with 0 plasma can get to 180 evolve points before it is at top plasma again.
