Drones and Sentinels regenerate health faster than their Evolutions? We've been using the wrong meat shields this entire time!

For me most important conclusion is that it is better to stay a spitter than evolve into praetorian in 90% of cases.

Praetorian and Spitter fill completely different Niches, imo. They don't have much in common, I'd rather see Praet moved to the Warrior tree, with spit and corrosive acid removed. Give it a roar instead that disorients (similar to Queen screech, but without the gun dropping and stun, Marines would be momentarily deafened and walk like they were drunk for a few seconds) instead of neuro spit, and minor bullet resistance.

Same with Warrior to Ravenger. Charge is only good for closing the gap, any marine that can juke, good luck hitting. Lose the ability to vent crawl, pounce and your HP is twice as much but your healing rate is half, so it takes four times as long to heal, keeping you out of fights longer.

@Davidchan. The warrior does not need spit. Nor does the praetorian need roar. They are fine as is. However, as you said, the praetorian and spitter have different uses, which I like. Evolutions, in my opinion, should not be a 'this is better', it should be a 'this has different tools for certain jobs'. The praetorian is good at breaking down defenses with support. The spitter is more attack friendly. I'd like to see the Sentinel have the spitters tackle, and the spitter have the sentinels tackle to make it even more Trade like. Sentinels, being the caste to defend the hive with their superior tackles, Spitters, to help Warriors and such offensively with their spit and increased health. I am 80% sure that, as it stands right now, the spitter is an all around upgrade against the Sentinel.

The warrior does not need spit. You did not read my post, or complete misread it if you did.

I did not say give the Warrior spit (they have pounce, it's better.)

I said to make the Praetorian the Warrior's evolution, remove spit from the Praetorian and give it a Roar (AOE disorient ability) since it's too big to pounce.
