New Favorite Attachment combination:

-Magnetic Harness
-Fore Grip
-Extended Barrel (optional)

On the M41A(burst fire enabled)

This combination is pretty effective for holding the line and when you're alone, because you'll never loose the gun and semi-accurate suppression fire can deal with Xeno's
Pretty well.

What's the new meta with the new burst fire attachment?

I personally don't believe that there's any meta tied with the burst fire attachment, unless you care to elaborate further. It appears to be great for making machine guns, in my opinion, ESPECIALLY if you're going for a suppressive fire build like I do, sometimes. Tends to create tons of FF due to it's spread, though it can shred a Carrier in close range in 2 bursts, balancing it out IMO.

Ah, I see. Personally I like slapping it, a red dot, and an extended barrel (if spec/SL). Semi-accurate LMG fire that is absolutely horrifying to Xenos. I tried sticking a barrel charger on it, though it sadly caused the bullets to have so much spread, they FLEW TWO TILES TO THE SIDE before flying down-range. Just my personal loadout, anyways.

My go to load out currently is:

Magnetic harness
Bayonet
Forward grip

As a medic, I tend to pick magstrap gyroscope'd bayonett'd M41A over a magstrap'd SMG purely because of the bayonet.
WIth my medic loadout, I can only take two magazines. I'm not going to do any damage with that. Thus simply use the guns of the wounded, and mine is supposed to be more of a deterrent that can't be taken away from me than a damage dealer. A bayonet stab can make a lone alien trying to pick off a medic dragging someone wounded back off and reconsider, where bashing him with an SMG won't deal any damage at all.

Oh, major pro tip: 20 req points provides 4 red-dot sights. that's half the content of the vendor at dirt cheap prices. It's buyable inside the "Special Operations Crate" Barrel Chargers though are a major pain. My suggestion is as RO is to ask CE for Plasma sheets, only 50 sheets (two half stacks provided) gives exactly 800 points, add in all those crates laying around Requisitions and Disposals and you have 1000 points.
Except plasma doesn't give you points anymore.

Usually my going out loadouts are:
SL:

1. Barrel charger, Bipod, Quickfire for M41A
or
2. Magnetic harness, grip, silencer for M41A

Medic:
Magnetic Harness, Grip, Bayonet(made with cable coil on knife)

Specialist:

B18 with M41A, charger, bipod and quickfire.
or
M42 with bipod, silencer and SMG with silencer.
or
SADAR with M41A, magnetic harness, bipod, silencer.
or
Smartgun w/barrel charger and a .44 with red dot.

You sit there and contemplate life as you realize that the nerfs to RO have made your job literally fucking impossible.

And then you blow your brains out in your office.

Quickfire is bugged and doesn't increase firing speed, don't know why people keep using it viewtopic.php?f=116&t=5766
Also, barrel charger is like the worst attachment you can get, it reduces a lot the DPS, only "decent" on the shotgun because it doesn't decrease the firing speed of it.

Barrel charger slows the firing speed of M41AA. If used quickfire, it fires quicker. Same with .44, I'm not sure if quickfire has anything to do with barrel charger, but it works like that for me.
