Guide to restocking vendors/cleaning up armory

Step 1. Acquire screwdriver.
Step 2. Use screwdriver on a weapon vendor.
Step 3. Insert various ammo/guns/etc. lying around. You can insert spent speed loaders/empty shotgun ammo boxes to "refill" them. EDIT: Also fixes helmets.
Step 4. Screwdriver close.


The easy way to clean up the junk marines leave lying around in the armory.

Note there is a small bug that causes the item state (in hand sprite) to not update properly, you can fix by holding something in your hands/switching hands etc.

Although I'm unsure about the refilling of the ammo though.

I'm pretty sure it does as it deletes what you put in and adds another to the count of what you put in.

I imagine this bug would refill magazines too and power packs too. Bet those sniper specs are wishing their sniper ammo came from vendors now.

This works for other vendors right? So like the spec vendor. He breaks his B helm, puts it back in, and boom. A new B helm?

I put a squad leader helmet in and that fixed it.

Edit: Oh fuck I just thought of the most meta powergaming thing ever!

I will not tell anyone it though as that they would abuse it.

I wouldn't really call it a bug as much as an oversight, anything you can get from a vendor you can put back in. It deletes what you put in, but allows you to create a new instance of whatever it is you inserted. Dunno about things like specialist vendors since you need to use tokens for that.

Turns B18 helmets into regular ones though

Fixed the exploit. You can no longer do these things.
Ignore that, it is still possible to do it, but it will probably work a bit different once Apophis finishes with it.
