here i will outline how to set up proper defenses for both sides, a swell as do's, and do not's
xenos As a xeno your defensive ability comes from being able to slow down and flank your enemy, as well as slowly leading them into a location where you can surround them and rapidly hit them from all sides, all too often i see giant endless blobs of resin walls and doors that are utterly useless in anything but slowing you down, your key to victory as a xeno is speed if you have to go through dozens even hundreds of resin doors to get new huggers and drop off hosts that creates lots of problems, as you take a long time to turnover for new xenos, or take so long getting in that the host wakes up, adding needless difficulties, you want to have doors to prevent easy exit or entrance for marines aswell as sealing off idividuall locations however these doors serve little purpouse in defending, all they do is cause annoyances for you fellow xenos,
essentually as a xeno you want to have a central egg room near the entrance and a nesting chamber next to that with rows of nests, now, if you want to improve speed at getting an escaped host back down have hallways that go through the nesting chamber so you dont have to go through many doors possibly making it easier to escape, you also want sticky resin around the nests under the doors, you want to fill the entrance to the egg chambers with lots and lots of sticky resin and weed nodes, marines usually wont go through the effort to remove these leading to a very slow push and escape making it easy to hugger rush them.
xeno do nots,
1. endless doors/walls
2. endless doors/walls
3. endless doors/walls
4. execute escaped hosts
5, slow to get through entrance for xenos.
xeno do's.
1.sticky resin.
2.egg chamber near entrance.
3.nesting room near egg chamber.
4.ways to go around and trap marines in egg room
5.ambush marines trapped in egg room by sticky resin with a facehugger rush
will make marine part soon(feel free to create a properly gramticfied verson if you want me to replace it with somting easier on the eyes).
