How to actually have fun as an MP

We all know that MP can be a boring job, and many MPs head to cryo about 30 minutes in, if that. But surprisingly enough, it is possible to have fun as an MP, and here's how:

1) Card Games: Whether or not you've latejoined or not, the first thing you'll want to do is run to cryo, go to the southernmost table and pick up the deck of cards that should be sitting there. If a cheeky marine has already taken it, then good luck. Otherwise, put it in your pocket and head back to the brig. During slow periods play solitaire, or if any other MPs are bored, play blackjack or poker.

2) RP: When in doubt, RP. If you actually manage to take an unfortunate prisoner in, pull up a chair, buckle in, and initiate a conversation about nothing in particular. It makes things so much more bearable for both of you. A few things to take about could be: life in the marines, politics, music, and/or character history.

3) Take a Walk: It can be surprisingly fun to take a walk around the Sulaco. You can strike up conversations with different departments, observe how well Command Staff is ordering the marines, and if you're lucky you might actually find a genuine troublemaker!

I usually play around in the W-Y Representative's Office or monitor the Medical bay.

Yeah, it can get boring after the briefing. I'm somtimes glad, if a crazy rookie goes on a killing spree.

MP is very boring. Which is why I think so many are assholes during the briefing phase. It's because if they cause something, they don't have anything to do.

As MP I usually have fun by watching YouTube or study on one monitor while my second monitor has the game open.

Yes, it is the most boring of jobs, but if opportunity comes a-knocking, such as survivors coming aboard, you'll get a nice chance to RP it up and immerse people into the world of CM more, instead of, you know... Just pepperspraying people in the face for making fun of your hat.

Only pepper spray? One round I called an MP done and it ended 10 minutes later with a medbay gunfight, a dead me, and cryo blown up from a tactical shotgun grenade.
