So I've seen alot of people and i mean
ALOT of people sucking balls at playing queen, either not good enough to command and/or not a robust fighter.
So buckle up, today i will teach you not just to be a Queen, but an Empress!
There are a few things you should know before playing Queen:
1)If you will disconnect mid round don't even go Queen
2)Protect the hive, if you die a new Queen will rise but at least keep your numbers. What makes you a Queen is your population.
3)Eggs, lay'em, love'em, never stop putting them everywhere you go.
4) Build a hive EVERYWHERE you go, you are like a hivelord but a bit durable so a good hive will let you win matches.
Now that we have cleared that, let's get the real talk startin'
First: Command

As a Queen, you control the hive, much like a CO but with less responsibility. Your main role when you begin playing is to lay eggs while the runners go and capture some hosts. Make an Objective say " Runners catch hosts, Sentinels patrol the hive, drones build and secure hosts".
So from what i've seen, Drones get REALLY bored or REALLY stupid when taking care of the hosts, so let the sentinels watch them. The best caste for capturing hosts is runner and hunter. Simply because of their speed and agility that can infect and run. Order your Runners to go in one big Group or several groups of 2 or 3 (Based on how much aliens you have)

The best hive there is out there is the one with lotsa eggs and Sticky resin. While most people don't know the benefits of it, Sticky resin if a marine moves in it he gets stunned for 1 to 2 seconds, allowing you to pounce or infect him in tight areas. Nests should be made in a 3x3 tile in Domes or make a corner nest which will give you alot of advantage and time saving for building. And for caves i like the nests to be long 1 or 2 tiles wide for nests (Either horizontal or vertical), because it makes it easier for sentinels or to tackle a host without him flanking your sorry ass. A Good Queen is the one that ALWAYS makes it's priority number one a nursery for larvas with one in and out door for safe protection, and a royal jelly Room, preferably infront of the larva nursery to avoid alien confusion and going "JELLAH!!!" next to you.

A Queen is VERY Vicious in combat especially after they buffed it, 4 or 5 tail impales from a young Queen could crit a marine with armor. And as i said above, a good hive will ensure you win even if you are the only alien (Read: The Hive). When in close domes, they show great potential for the Queen as it can hit and run behind a wall, i prefer to fight in a closed area with one in and out door for maximum Robustness. Now you screech is your best friend! Make a Macro for it and if you don't know how it's easy [Key = Screech-(250)](See macroing 101 by forwardslashN for further details), and also make a Ready Tail attack macro.
Now that you have done that, here's how you combat. Screech, Pull, Tail impale or facehugger, drag him at you while you run and continue slashing him to death.
Notes:
1) Even if a player isn't down by the screech, he is still stunned for 2 to 5 seconds, make use of that.
2) Pull option is a very good one for hit and run tactic if you have downed someone and trying to escape or just pull him into a nest and grab the other marines.
3) If you see a downed alien, go aid it especially if you are an Empress, you have a high chance if deflecting bullets like a Crusher but don't be reckless.
