Caryl 'Hail' Bernhaben, Caryl comes from my real name, Bernhaben, from my real name. Hail is a nickname I gave myself (or some guys that see me) since when fighting against aliens, I always like to hail them with indirect fired bullets.

Jamie is my real name, I keep the NGG attached at the front because I've long been a staff member/tech guy with a community abbreviated as such, and it provides a unique enough name that on most services the name won't be taken. It's also good for keeping usernames consistent.

Edit: Figured I should include my character name too.
In-game my character's name is Lenny 'Rabbit' Shaw. I didn't want to keep going with the character name I most often roleplay on RP servers (Scott Connolly/Scott Harm, though I think I did play one round with that name) and instead decided to take up a different name. Shaw came from SS13's random name generator and I made the first name Lenny because it's a somewhat "dorky" sounding name. The nickname 'Rabbit' is a reference to Super Troopers because the rookie of the group was called Rabbit, and is a joke referencing that I was and arguably still am new to the server like Super Troopers' Rabbit.

I got my username from a YouTube video.

As for my character name, my original character name for SS13 is Helgraf Dragonhammer, I still use it for other servers like TG. I also first used the name Helgraf Dragonhammer in Skyrim. Now, for Jon "Houndslayer" Svarlson. Before I started playing CM, I read the rules (of course). Upon seeing the character name rule, I knew I couldn't use Helgraf Dragonhammer. So, I randomly came up with the name Jon Svarldson (That's the original spelling if I remember right). I played with it for a few round, then, came my first HG round on CM. I did pretty well, I made it to the final three. By that time, the hellhounds had come out and I was fighting them. I killed three of them with a fire axe and three more attacked me. I nearly killed one of them until they knocked me over and dragged me away from my axe and slaughtered me. In deadchat, people were praising me (I could be remembering wrong) and they called me Houndslayer. From there, I removed the d from my name and added in the nickname Houndslayer.

I was an uncreative child struggling to think of a username for that awesome new game: Runescape.

My friends from primary school had the usernames of northcote1, 2 and 3. It was only natural. That was a good 11-or-so years ago.

This Username? It's because ChickenShizNit8 was lost to time. rip me.

Bigby Farkas? I played the Wolf Among Us, made a Character on BestRP named Bigby Wolf, played long enough to establish him, told to change it, translated to Hungarian (Farkas) and ran with it.
