i charged into the crashed drop ship with a rifle but no armor or uniform on and the ooc chat after the round were having a great laugh honoring the "pajama marine", but it wasnt purely an act of bravery like they thought, there just wasnt any equipment left in the lockers and the DS crash had crushed the apcs and disabled the vendors, i couldnt have suited up in a timely manner even if i had tried

I feel awesome getting nine or ten kills with stock M41A + AP / stock HPR this last round, two or three of them was fought alone in hijacked Alamo midair.

This whole round is so far my most competent and robust round as a standard squad marine.

Killed a carrier that tried to take me to the hive after his trap infected me. A hunter dropped by, and he got cuckshotted to death too.
I Blew my own head off moments after.

Well, MP was arresting me for building a self-service bar, I was playing dumb. We were near hangar platform one.

Alamo back to shipside, a alien (probably a hunter) right on the cargo hatch. MP was typing, alien pounced on him and slashed.

I fought it one on one duel with my bare fists for a while.

MP got back on his feet, fire pistol, got pounced again.

I threw few punches again, pick up pistol and shot it.

It ran off.

I am a kind hearted criminal with standard and kung fu.



Edit: Another round, killed a ancient spitter, I think it ate a buckshot from an engie beforehand, then I fought it alone with stock M41A and regular ammo.

Wasn't on CM, but whatever.

On TG, I got arrested for breaking a light. The security guy who arrested me harmbaton'd me not only to apprehend me, but continued to do so once I was in my cell. I was in a prison jumpsuit and had nothing but my shoes. I took my shoes and started patting the window with them, this upset the security officer greatly so he came in and harmbaton'd me to teach me not to play with my shoes. After the beating and I came to, I started banging on the window to lure him in. He whipped out his baton and stood in front of the cell door. As soon as the door opened, I disarmed him, hit 4 on my keyboard and started harmbatoning the FUCK out of him. The warden came over and tried to stop me, he got harmbaton'd as well. They both got pretty fucked up. A third cop came over and used a disabler through the window to get me to stop. The last thing I remember the warden saying to the cop was "SEE? THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T HARMBATON PRISONERS."

I did good.

Not the most robust thing I've ever done, but this morning during a push into Big Red's southern research, everyone was moving down the lone hallway that leads to the room where the holding cells are. Queen and two ravs counterattacked and started savaging people, but I had C4'd the southern wall of the room with sec lockers a bit to the east. Being on the other side of the wall made me miss the screech, so I immediatly turned around the corner of the breach I made and started drlling the Ravs with AP to get them off our marines. When the queen got downed and was being dragged away, I twice naded her, the Rav with her, and a sentinel and emptied my AP mag into the big bitch. Felt super good killing that queen.

Last round I killed a Predator, a Queen, a Prae, a boiler, a crusher, 2 carriers, 2 sentinels, and a runner. So that's the most robust thing I've ever done.

There was a time when I was playing squad engineer on LV-624. We were pushing into the caves as a group and things were going well. I saw a single tile choke point and thought to put a claymore next to it. well, as luck would have it we pushed through and I thought this would be a perfect time for some RP as I had a flask of Froot-Beer in my helmet and I offered it to a guy next to me.

At that moment there was a runner doing a flank that I saw out of the corner of my eye. I nearly shit my pants as I was the single most unrobust engineer on the planet at that point. however, that runner skated past my claymore and the explosion sent it's guts flying for miles!

So I passed the flask, killed a runner, and felt pretty good at the time. It just goes to show,

As CMO I pulled a live larva out of a PO, also this marine came in and pointed a gun at me demanding oxycodone. I stripped the gun and put it down disposals. The marine got angry at this because they had lost their attachments. The marine punched me to which I responded with a flash. Another doctor aestheticised them and the mps came by to pick the marine up.

I got pounced and sliced into crit, but as luck had it I managed to stand and pull out a second Mod 88 I had found on the ground and proceed to blast them both in a panic, killing one and critting the other before Bravo arrived to rescue my paincrit body.

I was sweating bullets the entire time.

Iv killed a praetorian and a drone in the maintenance right outside of the office, succumbing to my wounds and oxygen loss from a hull breach soon after.

I have been playing CM for a long time...

The things that stand out in my mind as being the most robust things I've ever done (in no particular order) are:

1) As a drone, before the age thing was added, killing somewhere around 47 armed marines by myself on the Sulaco. I also killed a number of unarmed people but that's not really robust, however included in the unarmed populace killed was the entire engineering department. The super matter engine overloaded (I believe) as a result. The xenos still lost that round.

2) As a hunter, before the age thing was added, sneaking onto the Sulaco and murdering about 25 people, then sneaking OFF the Sulaco back to the surface killing 4 marines, then later sneaking back up AGAIN where I killed an additional 10-15 people before dying.

3) Having a personal last stand on the original prison station as a marine engineer where I was abandoned by my squad and managed to kill 9 xenos, including the old OP crushers with a no-attachment SMG, 1 mine, and 3 tiles of Egrilles.

4) In my mind, being the reason mines were nerfed for both the aliens AND the marines.

5) As an MP, single handedly stopping a full-crew mutiny (Ie, not just 5 guys). This was during the time that flasbangs would still stun MPs.

6) Being the last alien alive, becoming the queen on the pod-ride up to the Sulaco on a non-hijacked pod, and then making the hive great again for a xeno major where there were 60 marines left.

7) Winning hunter-games 3 times in a row.

8) Being the one to mainstream Peridaxon + Dexalin Plus as a Wonder-drug for stabilization.

9) Back when OB's were weak, managed to OB 9 xenos to death including the queen as the last able-bodied marine on the planet. I was a B18 spec (when B18 was considered garbage when compared to having all 4 specs roll SADAR) packing a 4 attachment (gyro, bayonet, stock, harness) shotgun and riot shield. In total I killed 17 xenos (including those 9) alone. Marines came back after that OB and won the round.

10) As a survivor, survived ALONE on the surface for an hour. Was eventually rescued by the marines. When the xenos later boarded the Sulaco, made my way to escape pod 3 and managed to kill a ravager, boiler, 2 runners, a hunter, and a praetorian with 2 grenades, a pulse rifle, and 20ish tables. This was before xenos could climb on tables. During that time I had a wonderful bit of RP with MOTHER and the then CL, who escaped on his personal pod while MOTHER denied the main escape pods undocking.

That's all I can think of at the moment. Good times...

*edit* Oh yeah, and mass producing double-bluespace bombs as a researcher. That was a fun one...

Solo'd the queen with 2 grenades and dual mod88s. Goliath the predator clapped for me afterwards.

I've only twice felt robust. Once when I was ironically super bald and once recently.

When I was bald I forgot how to fire a pulse rifle. So I went in for a bayonet against a crusher and killed it melee. Very proud.

Recently, this didn't result in a kill, but Almayer was boarded and I was a PO armed with an SMG. Alone in the hallways, I was beset at the same time by a carrier, a spitter, and a ravager, all mature or elite. I fought them off with sharp jukes and accurate shooting and forced them to retreat.

Only a minute later I was pounced and meme'd by a lone young hunter.

Get back up, run and pull out revolver, fire two shots into rav

Stab rav as it pounces me again
Arm goes flying off
Both of us go into crit
Wake up moments later
Pop tram pen
Proceed to punch rav with other arm
Rav dies after several punches
Bandage myself and gather my things
Drag my new trophy back to LZ

Not really the most robust thing i've done but it feels worth mentioning, I was alone and caught a out of place boiler in CQC, Didn't have any ammo left so i ended up firing my last couple shots at it then rushing it with my boot knife and stabbing it to death killing myself instantly aswell as it. Sure i coulda just downed it and left and it woulda died on it's own but that's not as fun as stabbing it to death knowing it's gonna kill you too.

As for actually robust?, Combat wise anytime i get my hands on two gyro's i usually end the round with a double digit kill count.
Robustness non-combat wise would be back when my good old medical mentor Tomas 'Sevens' Svennson still played, God bless his German soul. I was at my peak as a medic player, Ended up being one of only two medics alive at the two hour mark in hydro on LV624 with next to no defense around us and runner's constantly harassing us, Managed to whip out my gyro shotty and point blank a runner in the face while tending eight critical patients (goddamn inaprovaline rules) then proceeding to do it a-bloody-gain not five minutes later this time with half the marines i was tending too prettymuch be back a 100% Condition while the other half were nearly done. Managed to successfully get them all back into action netting myself a good handful of kills all the meanwhile moving on to save even more marines, My end round kill count was around six, My end round marine lives saved and gotten back into the fight?, Roughly around eighty or so during a three hour round with no resupplies.

Now lemme credit good old Tomas 'Sevens' Svensson here as a god medic, I stuck to him like glue for my first three months playing and with some questions and alot of observing i learned everything i now know about medical from him and Kathleen Redd, Another great medic, Either way tomas was the kinda god medic you would see stacking people on top of eachother near him so he could treat sixteen fukkin people at once instead of just eight, Said it was easier this way. He would tend eight crit's no problem whatsoever and get them all fighting all the mean while roleplaying talking about the weather and how it's nice, With a 10/10 German accent AND Keeping aliems off him and his patients with the kind of precision and expertise you would only see in an anime. Won't see another medic like him for a looooooooooooooong time.
