This, and given the nature of how cheap the food is, I think only the Officers Cafeteria should get a manned kitchen. Since the Officers Cafeteria seems to have actual food in it(sometimes) and the Corporate Liaison can finally complete their pompous attitude by refusing to eat any of the premade meals the USCM serves and demanding an MT make them something good or be fired.Ikmalmn wrote:If you play MT enough, they have a lot of free time. The question is, would you prefer to be served a meal from a jumped up janitor, or a 'highly trained' marine chef?Ikmalmn wrote:If you play MT enough, they have a lot of free time. Doing maintenance is rarely needed once you already set up power and fixing it the 2nd time.
Johnathan Ringer is the guy you have never seen, nor ever want to see.

To be honest, I see no difference between those two maybe except the clothing. I've seen it done before in Sulaco where an MT straight up refurnish the messhall into a bar for a couple of rounds and I can tell on what to expect after experiencing it.Trench007 wrote:The question is, would you prefer to be served a meal from a jumped up janitor, or a 'highly trained' marine chef?
Plus, the only people that would even care about RP'ing on this quote on quote bar, is roughly 1-2 marines and survivors. There's little point on having this to be frank.

i think that eating bad vending machine food after waking up from being frozen and then being sent to die is quite thematic

+1, what about a certain role (completely new, or MT or whatever) only cooking for the Officers/Captains Mess? The marines got their vendors and some leftovers if they are lucky. But the command staff deserves some food brought to them in an modified janitorial whole new kitchen-trolley
I play Hans Meier, your random old guy from germany.
Is this a little medic Chibi Hans slightly different from the Avatar one? --> Oh yes it is! All the credits and a huge thanks to Okand37 for these lovely marines!

I'll stick to neutral.
There's reasons to say no, like delaying deployment.
Otherwise I'm in for a kitchen and such.
PS: Add cereals already Q_Q

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.
