Help transport wounded, ssds (you don't know how much time competent doctors lose by having to ferry people around).
Clean up trash. (If a lot of trash piles up (especialy gore and the like) it can cause your fps to go down.
Blackmail command to allow you to go down and help the marines.

As doctor there will always be patients and requisitions usually is the most busy. As MTs you can also assist the POs in loading their DS. If you're really fucking bored bring together a bunch of marines or MTs or civilians and play cards/dungeons and dragons.
