Xenos rush survivors for the same reason they do marines, its a simple one, its the joy of ending other people's rounds.

I know I try to murder the survivors if possible. They are dangerous tall hosts, capture is good if they are close, but there is more than enough monkies. but on a reasoning level : they are dangerous, they know of the hive, they may know of it's location when we wish for them not to. Capture terminate, or leave be. All valid options in the end.

Eh nothing worse than getting 40 minutes in and realising there is a whole lot of furrys somewhere that were missed because runners decided to harass a survivor. Even worse if its lowpop and you lose 1-2 to survivors

I haven't gotten survivor in two months or so, but I usually beeline towards the armory as chances are that I will also find other meta gaming survivors looting the place. Ayys will rarely try to capture you since there are so many other hosts that aren't humans on the planet, they'll most likely end up killing you because you pose a threat on round start. That's basically how it went my last time as survivor, run towards armory immediately, meet two survivors, team up, gear up, then run around the colony looking for more guns and killing 2 or 3 aliens in the process. Marines come to the rescue when we're struggling to fight off a prae at the bar and escort us to LZ1. Then the Alamo turret killed two of us and left the other unscathed. The aliens that round weren't that good though, and it definitely wasn't low pop.
Phillip Driver, jack of all trades, reliable in some. Your typical jumpy flamer PFC or ammo fumbling CPL, always has a pair of ballistic goggles on him for unknown reasons. Will probably die mid sentence, because he talks (and gets bullied) too much for his own good. He has his moments though.

Jim, a Gen 2 Synthetic. Has a tendency to get melted to bits when planet side, and that's when he's behind barricades. Despite that, he's vigilant and always ready to drag you out of danger, even if it damages him in the process.

Didnt think it was meta for them to go for the armoury? I mean dont they know the Xenos exist and killed everyone?

define rush? I personally as alien go for what ever i can get and when i played survivor i think i only had one-two xenos look at us. Kind of different, three survivors in a medical section that they needed acid to get into. (i also as a queen wont enable slashing at this stage)

Usually it's just to get hosts that put up a fight before they get too equipped or manage to get to the Almayer, monkeys don't put up a fight and can't escape, so that's a potential 2-4 hosts that you might lose out on, it may not seem like much to some but that's still 2-4 hosts.

You're overlooking the knowledge game. You as the xeno, are unaware of any other hosts. If the Survivors make it to the marines they could share information relating to the hive. The best course of action is to spare one or two xenos to eliminate the survivors if possible. If done right a single spitter or drone can eliminate them before they reach the armory, especially if they are already injured.

But me, as a Xeno, can come across other survivors and see them as a potential future threat that must be eliminated, and the hive won't have spitters by the time they reach the armory and there is no way in hell a drone is gonna go out of the hive during the setup to kill a survivor.

If you kill survivors you shouldn't feel bad because they can always join benos. And it's so early in the round that they might even become a t3
