Six machetes.
One on armour, one on belt, two in hands and two in backpack.

Woah woah woah hol up just a second here. You can fit machetes in your backpack? Or two in your backpack slot? Ive only been able to put one on my back but I've never tried to put one inside of a bag before. Is this for real?

Would you rather be a marine with a backpack sprite or a marine with a machete sprite though.WinterClould wrote: ↑19 Sep 2017, 15:47Woah woah woah hol up just a second here. Re: The Most Robust Loadout
As many HE grenades as possible + rifle with UGL.
But only if you know how/when to cook and place them so that they don't give xenus a chance to escape, or otherwise force them to make lose/lose decisions (do I eat the explosive or move towards the wall of bullets).

Normally I take just the rifle with rail flash, bayonet, and skele stock, full belt of M41A ammo, first aid pouch, pistol ammo pouch with two M44 speedloaders, an M44, three speedloaders and a flare pouch in my satchel

Re: The Most Robust Loadout
Robust PO load out:
Machete on back
88 mod4 pistol and mags in pockets
Standard ammo belt/rig on belt with M41a ammo
M41a on floor between pilot seats
Knife in boot
Grenade in armour slot
First aid stuff and whatever else in satchel
Preferably steal the fancy ammo from Requisitions( extended mags and incendiary) after all it's not like that fancy gear actually gets issued to anyone
Also, if you want a shotgun try steal a tacticool one from MPs or somewhere, normal shotguns are rubbish
Also if you, as a PO actually use much of the gear you got then you are doing it wrong =P

Thats why I hate silent POs walking to reqs and taking tons of nades, ammo. Maybe its good idea to put signal-controlled bolted airlock in that doorway

Re: The Most Robust Loadout
Yeah that was a joke, POs should only take normal ammunition and maybe 1 or two grenades
anything more is just rude because POs dont see as much combat as marines, so its the marines who need the good ammo and grenades. saying that, Requisitions never actually gives that stuff to anyone...

All these people with 2 guns, where are you keeping an adequate supply of ammo for both?
Probably dead in some remote corner of the map

Re: The Most Robust Loadout
Dolthgar's Pet loadout (or, as I name it better : Dolthgar's Slave Loadout)
Having Dolthgar near you.
Let him doing the kills or the crits.
Grab him if he's too much in danger.
Give him your ammo and/or weapon.
Use your corpse as a human shield for him.
Don't complain if he FF you, he is still better than you.
Guaranteed 5 aliens kills at least.
If no Dolthgar around, ask for RO to order one, or follow a SL and play as a regular marine instead of a Dolthgar's pet.
Pro-tips : do whatever he says, his orders are better than what you're thinking, even if it includes that you die while he laughs at you.
________________________________________________________________________________
Adding a real loadout for a flamethrower user :
Flamethrower (ask for SL), add a rail light on it. Needing at least 2 spare fuel tanks (not counting the one loaded on the flamethrower).
Fire extinguisher.
M39 Holster for SMG or M44 revolver holster in case of urgency shooting (grabbing wounded, Flamethrower lost by pounce or else)
(If ya want attachments : SMG, RDS/Suppressor | Revolver : QF (or RDS) and recoil.)
Any other gears you want are extra (large mag pouches from SL/Spec to ask if you want to secure some ammo from your "sidearm", medical pouch if you want to ask advanced burn kit in cause of FF or if you want to help some of your wounded pals, ...).
Pro-tips : if your SL is not online and you can't have a flamer, ask for any SL EXCEPT Charlie SL (Charlie guys are mean while Delta, Alpha and Bravo are cool dudes.)

3x Polycentric grenades, 6x keloderm grenades, 6x bicardine grenades. 3x napalm, 6x metal foam. Why these? Because I'm planning on getting smoke nerfed to shit and I also like being support.
Machete + rifle (quickfire+grip) + 2x polycentric grenades and 1x explosive.

You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Shotgun with gyro+mag harness with buckshot on scabbard
Shotgun with rds and grip with slug on armor.
Shotgun ammo belt with 50/50 both types of ammo.

Re: The Most Robust Loadout
My PFC flare dispenser loadout
Protein bars on helmet
Two tricord in armour
Boot knife
Flare pouch, first aid pouch
Backpack full of flare packs
Two M41As, one with rail flashlight, bayonet and UGL (loaded ofc), put it on your waist to have the vision buff.
One with RDS, bayonet and grip, it is deadly accurate.
5 M41A ammo in belt, ask RO for one or two AP (and one extend mag) if remember to.
Tips
If got advanced kits, put it in armour and move tricords to first aid pouch.

Re: The Most Robust Loadout
M41A :
RDS + Grip (+ Extended Barrel if the RO loves you)
Maximum accuracy.
Burst firing = 3 bullets, 3 hits. Careful with FF, but damage output si really good and ammo conservation too.
You'll lack damage burst, but it gives a really good support carbine to cover the frontliners.

THROWING KNIVES
but in all seriousness, a Pulse Rifle with a skele stock, a forward grip, a bayo and a rail flashlight is enough to get the job done and will decrease FF, Remember real man fire accurately, they don't burn ammo, they make every shot count, also a survival knife, and a revolver, pack some ammo. The rest is a pack of cigs and a zippo
