One old suggestion I had for Ice Colony was to move the underground portion to the above ground area.

Move it north of the surface facility and tighten up some of the excess areas.

You can argue the base is built into the side of a mountain.
This is war, survival is your responsibility.

Medbay cryo tubes need their own APC desperately.

Coloured lines on the floor for baldies to follow to the right prep room would be nice.

A minibrig or even just a forensics terminal near briefing would be nice.

A couple of tweaks are probably in order; moving the anesthetic closet and organ printer closer to the doors, and perhaps moving the vendors to the back area so the surgery waiting area has more room for surgery hell, but I think this would be an ideal Medbay layout overall.

Crit patients/revives get healed and stabilized immediately coming in from the hangar via cryo.

Fast diagnostics and surgery access in an area doctors are sure to see you.

Fast access to cryobag recycler.

Fast, easy access to chemistry and other necessary/high use facilities.

Excellent freedom of movement.

Lots of space for surgery hell.

All superfluous/low traffic facilities are stowed in the back of Medbay.

Cryo gets its own APC to accommodate its massive power draw.

Move the RO line buttons 2 tiles east to the wall there and delete the table to free up some space to move around

We need some doors blocking lower medbays ladders leading to upper medbay. To many marines use that to flood into Research when they SHOULDN'T be there.

Some little replacements,
Replace the Whiskey in the CL's office with some W-Y sake.
Replace the Arcturian Ice Cigarettes in the CL's office with WY Gold
Replace the CL's "secret" panic room with a small bathroom

Is adding a bulletproof vest and maybe a pair of gloves to the CL's clothing closet also a mapping thing or something different.
Should I just make a full fledged git suggesting for this at this point?

What about making the top GAU ammo dump 3x6 and then using the bottom ammo dump for more medbay room?

You lose 18 tiles expanding the top one and gain 45 tiles from removing the bottom one.

An extra 27 tiles, and the bottom ammo dump is sort of inconvenient for the pilots to reload from.

I'm all for getting rid of at least one of the ammo dumps.

No. We will not be changing medbay anytime soon, at least, not based on suggestions.

I'm working on a Medical Rework/writeup which MIGHT adjust medbay, but nothing like this.
