When you say the "best" squad, that could mean a couple things for me:
Delta is definitely the best in terms of comedic value, and makes life feel more worthwhile (despite the fact that your life expectancy is curbed).
On the other hand, I'd say Alpha get the job done pretty well, if you judge the squads by their competence.

Delta, the squad that do push, use AP and pull marines back.
Another note is that Delta mains made a conscious choice of main'ing a squad instead of random, that makes a big difference, and most of them main Delta, making Delta the most unique squad.

Charlie is the best squad for roleplay.

Mechanically best however, I think it can change with timezone and who's on. Bravo has been surprising me recently, I do think they're the best squad for fob and it should stay like that.

Well, as a deltard I have to say that Delta is the marine mindset incarnated.

Never carry any flares cause Deltas are freaking chads. And it's all muscle with zero craps given and quite the body trail behind them.

Alphas are mostly bald.
Bravo mains are barely a thing cause they're mostly made up of people who couldn't be delta or charlie.
Charlies mostly just barks unless the cool charlie mains or the good SLs are there.

Delta's where it's at. Either win it or die horribly.

Delta is definitely the most robust squad due to having all the robust regulars.

Personally i'm a bravo main myself, should probably change to delta due to bravo usually having a mix of competent people and baldies which does annoy me sometimes. But I just can't get myself to change squad due to one of my buds telling me to join bravo when i first started playing, I can't seem to let go of half the squad being silent and the other half being lords of banter due to boredom from FOB duty.

Delta, because they're the "Live fast, die young (Because command decided to send JUST Delta to do something yet again)" squad.

They usually kill shit really hard for 15 minutes, then hard wipe.

Now, they're more competent. I'd say all squads are pretty bloody clumsy, but Alpha don't get into Delta-tier shenanigans.

Alpha doesn't do in the Delta-carry things neither.

You hear very often : Delta carried the USCM.
Sometimes : Charlie carried the round.

How many times have you heard : "DAMN BRAVO WON THAT ROUND !" ?
Or "OH SHIT ! ALPHA MAJOR !" ?

Perhaps I heard some : "Damn, Alpha really reduced their FF today !" or maybe : "Damn ! Bravo was almost useful outside their FOB !"

bravo main here, oringally joined because I liked the color, didn't give any other squads consideration because I did it when the squad pref was just added and thus the squads didn't really have a meta since anyone could be in any squad

Charlie has the best Medics as well as Engineers on Average (Put Delta on FOB to prove why they are not the best), not to mention we try to help people learn to be better (Engineers has been a bit less on this front lately, cause it's been mostly Ian Evans, but Wanda Fisher is right up there now as well with really fantastic Engineering work, not to mention we have CE Darla Kickum). If you have someone fixing Tcomms after someone fucking it up (ALPHA!!!) it'll be a Charlie usually. If you have an OD it'll be Rein, Kayla, Aisha, or Myself, (among others seriously we have a lot of robust ones) keeping you alive with our own little complementary styles(Rein gets you back to 100%, I get you back in the Fight [fuck your broken bones a splint is fine, also Peri will fix your lungs, keep fighting!!!], Aisha is a mix of both, Kayla is both great as a mix as well as supporting others with Trauma/Burn Kits to not OD). We also have someone that is either a robust sl, or can help you be a robust sl (Basically give two supply beacons to the Engies, congrats you are a robust sl). Basically, if you're not into being a PFC, Charlie is the best. Otherwise Delta will be better (Charlie still has better RPers for PFCs).

The only sad part about Delta is that we peaked about two months ago, when we had the perfect confluence of Delta RP, Robust Deltas, and synced up playtimes. Now Delta is the IT squad, everyone wants to be a Delta and 1/3 of the time on highpop I can't even roll Delta PFC, let alone Delta Spec or SG. Maybe 1/6 if Medium SL rolls will land me in Delta. Our strong Delta stock has been diluted by newcomers! We need some anti-immigration policies.

I vividly remember riding the conveyor belt. That was the best damn part of the OP right there. I was laughing like an idiot, and the SL expressing his disappointment with us for riding it was icing on the cake.
