Sounds like it's gonna exceed expectations! Hopefully incompetence doesn't ruin the flow of this round. Good thing it's 9:00pm EST rather than my timezone. I'll be able to attend surely, but I'd like to ask. Will the round be manually restarted if there's a round in the middle of the round? Just asking for the sake of asking.

Also, will we be allowed to sort out this engagement via political means?

If a normal round is happening at the time the event is supposed to occur, the administrators (admins) that are available will accelerate it in some way.

About your other question; It depends. You certainly wouldn't try to talk or negotiate with an enemy ship that would be attempting to blow up the Almayer, but none of us, including myself, know about what the enemy is about or what the circumstances of the event are.

Sounds very neat! If I have time I'll hop on as an MT instead of a Combat Engi since it sounds like you'll need someone with a lot of engineering and repair experiance.

Eh, it was fine I guess. Im super disappointed but I think that's just because I had ZERO interaction with the event outside of "random hull breach a mile away in maint kills me after if I got locked in." Being a PFC really sucked since I was hoping to interact with the event in some way.

It was a cool idea, I'd like to see it again in the future but right now I feel like shit because of my own personal disappointment.

Here's hoping the next one is a bit more inclusive with marines outside of command having things to do.

I think standards missed a lot of the cool interactions which were going on. For them it was more so a regular round with a few extra objectives and lots of erts.

It was much different for anyone within the command structure. I had so much fun and for the first time in awhile, I felt like anything could happen as the world shaped around or actions.
