So you get to make up any justification you want? Honestly, it wont really be much fun if every round is "humans and xenos frolic together and if anyone tries to play the actual game the xenos smother him with no retribution from the marines because peace lol".
The xenos have no lore reason to negotiate with the marines, and what happened in the video is a clear indication of bad RP on the part of the marines who allowed Jimmy to be killed and the queen for abusing her telepathic ability.

My ultimate fear here is that shit like this and the little games queens try to play with survivors may result in the complete removal of the queen's telepathy, which is something I honestly dont want to see.

Because marines actually did NOT look the same, were better armed were better protected, were more numerous, and probably even smeelled different. It was it Queen's interest to make a non-agression pact with marines to avoid the deaths of her brood. Because Aliens Care about their own survival.

if it had such a huge murder boner and was extremely hostile, it would simply kill them and not negotiate, because xenos don't negotiate, they don't know what it is, they only know about their primal desire, to keep the hive alive and well and the growth of the hive, they wouldn't need allies as they could just be used to further grow the hive, why keep something as an ally when you can just use it for yourself?

hell,In Alien and Alien Isolation it is killing people because they are a threat, you don't see the queen walk up to Apone and ask for a non aggression pact now do you?

also, if we're taking what was shown in prometheus to be true, then the alien is a weapon created by the engineers. so it probably has a genetic predisposition towards killing.
