Well firstly, I'll introduce myself briefly as the RO in the round at hand.

Honestly, at the time I didn't believe there was anything wrong as I was enjoying myself at the time with terrible defenses at the beginning, which had barely anything but lasted enough to set the full barricade set-up, up, and now, after the round has ended I don't exactly believe that there was anything exactly wrong in the round.

Well, this comment here:

I was playing crusher during this round and while we were on transit, humans already started evac and once we already reached to the Almayer all the humans have moved and have already prepared barricades at the SD with 3 sentries installed, our numbers weren't high and I kept telling the queen that we needed a boiler to successfully win the push. The queen decided not to wait for the sentinel to evolve into a boiler and decided we should leave the ship. My opinion both sides played unsportsmanlike and really acted with metaknowledge, like how do aliens know SD will blow up the ship or how the marines knew the dropship would crash into Almayer and prepared barricades to SD before even the Xenos reached to the Almayer. The round left a rather bitter taste and I would wish both sides would act more realistically than just play by trying to win the game, it ruins the experience for some people when people act out of character and meta, just for the sake of winning.

Unless you only play Xenos, you should know as the marine side you can prepare defenses as soon as the dropship is launched, there was no defense prior to the ship launching, everything was set up after the ship has launched, this also includes sending distress and evac, which leads to setting up SD.

Otherwise, I believe nothing is really wrong with the queen sending the ship down to get others, this delays the Xenos and it just allows the SD timer to keep ticking and to some degree, marines knew that aliens have either ran or is waiting for an ambush, which really doesn't matter as the round will continue and end eventually.

Although there was some off-hand comment at the end by jopper I believe saying something like "I hoped the SD timer reset" or something in the line after round end OOC, but honestly, in my opinion, there was no significant rule break of any sort here.

Whoa there buddy, you still ruined a round ending.

It's one thing to go down and gather more xenos to come back up instantly.
It's a completely different story to fuck off while the SD is going on and not come back.

So youre getting a Queen job-ban for this as your decisions in a position of power severely effected a round.

You might of done it with good intentions to win, but thats not the intent of the round end we want and this needs to be made clear.


You can go down to PICK UP xenos and instantly come back, not fuck off and return later on when you feel like it.
