Oh yeah. Once you get into that mindset, it's easy to shrug off dying.

As MT break into commanders mess and steal all the alcohol, go into the room adjacent to chapel and build a secret barTerminutter wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 02:55Typically main: CO

Most robust: None. I am the best at being a corpse. Instead, I play CO attempting to create an arr pee experience and trying to give everyone a purpose. It tends to fail horribly, other than one memorable op, which I am still proud of months later.
Want to try, but too pussy? I am too pussy to find an interesting way to play MT because it is legitimately a depressing experience.
Occupation never played? Squad lead. I tend to stick to Almayerside stuff, and communicating down the hierarchy seems to work well enough when I do it. (and I am SO getting off the CO list now that I have admitted I never played SL!)

- What occupation do you always gun for/can't live without when playing as a Marine?
Hmmm, as marine? Well ... I like specialist, I kind of like everything to be honest
- What other occupations do you enjoy playing besides your "main"?
ummmm, well smart-gunner of course ... not sure what else
- Which occupation are you the most R O B U S T at?
Definitely researcher, making xenos kick the bucket with my bombs BOMBZ FOR DAYZ M8.
Specialist i'm ... sort of robust at, depends a lot on the loadout and how lucky we are and competence, besides that, pretty good.
- What occupation do you wanna try but are too pussy to? (Squad leader? Specialist? Staff Officer? Executive Officer?)
None, i've tried them all except for CE, and ... well ... just, eh ... don't really like MT'ing or CE'ing
*- What common occupations have you NEVER PLAYED?
common? ummmmm, none
*- Do you have characters specific to whatever job you intend/play the most?
As a matter of fact I do, I name myself Anekcahap Volkov, but I change up the nickname to whatever is relevant to my "class"
Like medical is 'search', marine of any type is 'Blackout', MP is 'Oldman', and ... yeah

I usualy play PFC just out of laziness and convenience. No one blames you for anything and it is much more enjoyable. 10/10 would wander into darkness alone again

XO, SO or SL
- Which occupation are you the most R O B U S T at?
Smartgunner

Specialist... i never actualy tried specialist because it`s role that places a lot of squad resources onto you.

As far as going a role most often, it's between military police and a expendable grunt. The law must be upheld with harm batons

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
Back in the day I’d main as MT or squad engineer for days. Setting up the supermatter like Homer Simpson was fun times. Things like Optical Meson Scanners were actually useful.
But those pesky budget cuts now force me to main as PFC.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
I always try to go for Squad Leader since I'm usually pretty good at the mix of shouting and fighting for my life that being a Squad leader takes, although I do also like playing Spec sometimes, usually because I never get any grenades unless I'm a spec. I also don't really have any occupations that I'm scared to try except medic or docter, since I am terrible at saving lives most of the time. I don't really have any characters specifically for seperate roles yet, but I'm planning on making a different character, or nickname, for roles like SO and XO.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
Squad Marine or if it is lowpop and I am feeling spicy, Squad Leader or Pilot Officer. I haven't tried to roll spec since I accidentally 360 no-scoped my squad leader in the dick with an incendiary round a couple of months back when a hunter got in my grill. I wasn't ready for the 3-second wield-delay of the sniper rifle.
Never saw a reason to play Maint Tech with how boring and mindless engine set-up is. Shame it would be hard to port the goon engine that one is a lot of fun to play around with and actually takes a bit of skill to get going.

Medic is just fun healing people
- What other occupations do you enjoy playing besides your "main"?
PFC is just fun shooting queens
- Which occupation are you the most R O B U S T at?
PFC being a robust medic is hard and being a robust PFC is easy
- What occupation do you wanna try but are too pussy to? (Squad leader? Specialist? Staff Officer? Executive Officer?)
CE it just sounds boring but it would be cool to try

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
I like to rock a medic pretty often. Otherwise I think standard.
I rock my PFC like a mad mofo, and I’ve been getting more robust and more robust. Something about murdering Xenos is just too satisfying to do anything else!
I want to try squad leader but my character RP doesn’t really allow him to. His dossier and his actual personality in game are very different though!
Never tried spec, or any civilian or engineering role, none of them interest me.
Command roles are out of the question.

I take over the kitchen on LV-624 and start cooking. I know a working kitchen doesn't usually happen, and I don't often get any assistance from the engineers so I gotta scrounge up some table parts and set out my buffet line somewhere.
The entire plan is to acquire the mythical xeno burger.
Sometimes I can convince someone else to mix drinks, unless the PO steals the drink machine for themselves.

Re: What do you typically MAIN?
- What occupation do you always gun for/can't live without when playing as a Marine?
I generally play as PFC for that sweet sweet expendable vibe. RO is also my major for when I'm feel like a number-crunching, communicative, forward-thinking, organisational badass.
- What other occupations do you enjoy playing besides your "main"?
All except: CO/Synth (Not Whitelisted) or Medic (Want to try soon). All others I enjoy in their retrospect. XO is fun to be the 'Rock' that keeps marines pushing to the hostiles, SO for coordinating. Spec for that fearsome firepower, SL for managing the squad, engineer for setting up barricades, etc etc. Doc is really fun too.
- Which occupation are you the most R O B U S T at?
RO definitely. It's the bread and butter of the Marine wheel. Make sure it's greased up and ready to roll for whatever the departments needs.
PFC as well. Give me a shotty, I can follow orders pretty well. Hold Spec/Smartie's ammo, cover medics/Engis, defend area or put up barbed wire. Also save people's backs.
- What occupation do you wanna try but are too pussy to? (Squad leader? Specialist? Staff Officer? Executive Officer?)
Medic, wanted more chem practise with Researcher and healing with Doc before going frontlines.
- What common occupations have you NEVER PLAYED?
Medic. Apart from that, I've never played Synth/CO but they are whitelisted.
- Do you have characters specific to whatever job you intend/play the most?
PFC or RO. I am thinking of XO as well for RP reasons. Each time I can give a reason for the nickname 'Rock'. The true reason for that nickname, who knows.

Hmm. Flamer equiped Squad Leader. I know the in and outs and if I live long enough I can really shine with the role imo

Executive Officer, I don't have reliable time frames and always fear having to leave as a Command role. Irrational cause the same goes for SL and Spec, but....eh... I'll try in the summer and such. My very few times doing it were good and fun.
*- What common occupations have you NEVER PLAYED?
I think Doctor I've never actually played in all my time on CM.
*- Do you have characters specific to whatever job you intend/play the most?
Cassius Klaus is my normal squaddie type marine. The SL, MP, Engineer, etcetra. My true main.
Johann Klaus is the alternate I use only for Staff Officer, WO or perhaps CL. I use him as my older, veteran form of Cassius I guess. IC he's also the uncle..

Right now I've largely just been running Squad Marine as I learn the ropes of the game, but I've branched out to try Smartgunner and Engie. When I'm playing Xeno I generally aim to get Hunter or Rav, though I had a game as a spitter I particularly enjoyed.
