Do you mean that you initiate permabans based on the evidence given in the PB request and handle appeals based on the context of the appeal, whereas this interaction is an appeal?

Yes, we process them independently. Appeals aren't taken into account on PErmaban requests. Typically, just the evidence presented which is nearly always conclusive enough to result in the perma processing, then it can be appealed.

Can I be unbanned? I fully didn't know what I was doing was wrong, I misread the part that allows IC marine bravado and thought it allowed a more adult sense of humor since you can evidently twist nipples. I will never make jokes involving genital organs again. There is no reason for me to do it again because I am highly motivated to shoot aliums and do not want anything to get in the way of me and that.

I'm sorry I was disrespectful to Goliath also, and if CryOfWolves was offended. I really did not understand the nature of what I had done and didn't realize I was in the wrong. Even if I do not think I'm in the wrong in the future, I will always be polite and respectful to administrators and moderators.

I will always salt in d-chat or forums instead of trying to joke w/mods while they are answering my questions. I didn't mean to make anyone feel uncomfortable and thought it would be pretty funny for everyone and obviously it was not.

I have learned that not believing you have wronged anyone is not an excuse not to be banned for being obnoxious.

Well using my interactions with him to shape up my criteria, so far he's behaving here in the forums and seems like a nice, normal player. I wouldn't mind having his ban lifted

But as long as this doesn't happen and you get a 2 months probation - I'm fine wtih it. Noone but admins we're exposed and we all are 18+ here on staff

I don't like how you were trying to justify saying something idiotic as that in the first place, we aren't here to listen to dumb people spout off what they like in admin PM's.
I'd support the lifting with a longer probation, would be better not to get such a thing from people but as long as you understand not to do that again or cause other problems there should be no issue.

I am not a fan of anyone thinking that ahelp is an appropriate place to spread their salt in the first place. In the second place I am against the idea of sending 18+ comments to staff, jokingly or not. That said I would be willing to give you a second chance under the understanding than we would come down on you like a ton of bricks should you do something like this again.

I do believe this can be downgraded to a probation if Apop decides to do that. Just make sure you follow my advice from earlier in this post.

Yeah, my main reason for not wanting to lift this was the totally fucking stupid idea of putting the ban reason like that into the title, and the attitude in the first posts.

It will never happen again. As I said in a recent comment I will always use d-chat/forums to salt even if the jokes in mind are appropriate.

I agree that my attitude was terrible. I will not misplace your trust in me by repeating my mistake or attitude.

That was a mushbrained thing to do in hindsight, which I did because I really thought you'd say it wasn't ERP. I should have changed the title of the appeal the moment I realized that wasn't going to happen but it never crossed my mind to do so because I was so caught up in the content of the thread. 100% my fault for making assumptions and being generally stupid. I'm changing the title of the appeal so users don't need eyebleach.

However my roommate who had nothing to do with the incident and was very upset with me over it (and hit me with a burrito I kid you not) is Keith.Files and he'd appreciate it greatly if you could also unblock him as well. If you decide not to and you want him to go through his own process, is it acceptable for him to play on my ACC until then with the understanding that if he fucks up I'll be responsible?

If I mess up and log into the server as QuackingFlack will that like fully re-ban me or I just need to relog as Cuba?

He will have to make his own appeal and explain the situation. You can not appeal for him.
