Help-intent shuffled out of the req line, get to front just to find out they ran out of my favorite attachment.
Accidentally crippled a robust player with FF, leading to their death.
Ran out of hydro on LV to save a marine I saw just get downed, get pounced on the way and killed, the marine I was trying to save got saved by someone else.

Most recently I was a survivor on Ice and managed to spawn in one of the rooms in the dorms. I just hopped into the cabinet and kept my lights off. Almost-zero xeno activity save for a gut wrenching moment the door was pried open, leaving me wondering in the dark if the xeno was going to come in and open the cabinet until it just up and left. Happened to have a station bounced radio on me, but the mic was off. Hear a squad engie announce that comms were on and I think I might make it. So I step out of the cabinet, turn on my flashlight, and turn on the radio mic. Then I see acid get put on the door. I immediately yell that I need help in the dorms, the radio thankfully was on and picks it up.

In comes a spitter that quickly neuro spits me, starts to drag me out of the dorms, but I fight back. It just neuro spits me again and concludes I'm too much of a hassle to capture so it outright kills me. Leaves my corpse in the hall. Other survivor and a group of marines are coming up to the dorms. Just as they reach the doorway I'm near, a predator shows up and decides to "roleplay" menacingly in MY doorway, scaring the marines off. They come back a minute later when the pred leaves. Spec drags my corpse all the way to engineering, because of course that's where the medic would be, and the medic declares me braindead.

Latejoin, timed it right so I go down with no wait. Nexus is being picked at, there's a lone marine defending the south/kitchen area. I run to help them, scaring off the xeno that pounced them. I get pounced in return.

The marine full on hits me with a flamethrower. Xenos runs off, I try to roll out the fire. Marine collapses.

Pounced again while on fire, the xeno brought a friend who murders the flamethrower marine. Other marines, hearing the noise, investigate and save the flamethrower marine. I die to burning. They get revived, I'm declared dead.

Popping Oxy,Kelo to pull off a boiler cloud rescue, only to have the guy stand up when you are both almost out and shuffle you back into it in time for the follow up cloud to hit. The salt is real.

Story from last night's alien stomping marine fest on LV-624

XO Schneider was ordered to deploy planetside to ensure bravo had set up an adequate outpost at Engineering. (For those of you who were not present, all 4 squads were assigned to setting up an outpost each. One at LZ. One at Engineering. One at fitness and one at Internal Affairs) Marines had deployed at like 12:35 or something. Alright fine. Gear up and get on the Alamo. Fine. Take off. Fine. Suddenly: LZ is overrun. FML. What.jpeg. On the way down, the Xenos and queen had assaulted the nexus and LZ. Touch down, run out the doors guns blazing, drag alphas battered corpses onto the Alamo and try to get as many marines back as I can. Alamo takes off and I miss it. Fucked.jpeg. See a ravager running at me, somehow dodge his lunge and empty a few rounds in him to chase him off. See all other marines left at LZ being fucked. Issue move order and sprint as fast as sanic north of the LZ and through cargo. Unload and kill/crit a hunter with the mod88 and make it to Charlie at fitness. Charge south of fitness and try to kill the Ayys at nexus entrance. Get a kill on a runner and boiler before running out of ammo. Switch to master key flamer and lay down some ground rules for the xenos to know I'm marking my territory. Retreat back to fitness and ask for aid/evac. Ayys surround fitness and begin destroying the fortifications. Say goodbye to command. Die to queen as she charges in. Screeches and then hacks me to death. FML.

10/10 round would do again.

At least I got a medal.

Play first SO round in a couple of weeks, spawn in to see 2 other SOs and a Commander on board. Go to get my smokes and food for later and walk into CIC just in time to see CO BE the other 2 SOs. XO goes SSD and CO goes to cryo shortly after briefing but before Alamo leaves the ship.

Later in the round the new XO goes to cryo right after we lose the Alamo and I'm appointed acting CO due to seniority since I survived the CIC massacre and spend my time in command failing to call distress and evac.
