He literally just said why she left the chat, and no offense to Corazon but I think she totally overreacted.

I don't think it's an over-reaction at all. She was 100% allowed to take offense to it, and really I think this could have been handled differently if when he apologized, he didn't add the additional joke about being a slut into the apology story when he went and told it.

It doesn't really sound like they were strangers.

Complete removal from staff does seem like an overreaction as well all things considered. If Corazon properly communicated in the first place it would've been much cleaner.

The situation, if you read the report, is that after barely a week of knowing her, he said "there's my number 1 slut" once when she joined. She objected, they talked, he apologized. He then went onto discord later that day, explained he felt bad about it and apologized, but then concluded that explaination with "I bet it was true at some point in her life, people only get upset like if you call them a slut if they were". Which, undermined the apology and in our opinion in headstaff, went too far.




I'm locking this thread for now. Maybe one day in the future, we'll be able to have a Memorial post without people clogging it up debating on if our punishment/decision was right.
