You can have 2 weapons and a backpack/satchel eh.

As a SL/PFC, I have 2 M41 rifles and one backpack/satchel to carry additional shits.

I just juggle with my free hands, or sometimes I toss the secondary rifle (it's just a vanilla with flashlight). The secondary rifle is great for emergency CQC encounter (put it on burst fire before putting it on your exosuit slot).

So, you can have a strong primary, a decent secondary and some additional shits (especially awesome for SL to carry motion detector, supply beacons, additional sets of painstop/first aid injectors).

Quickfire, grip and surpressor.

Or

Mag harness, surpressor and UBL

Depends on your goal and play style.

Gyro is the best attachment for the M41A and probably the best attachment in the game overall, but its value doesn't really take off for the M41A unless you've got two of them, each with at least suppressors: drop accurate 6 AP bullets in less than a second.

In general there are several particularly strong attachments that become truly powerful when synergizing with others; they are: Gyro, Burst Fire Adapter (BFA) and Quick Fire Adapter (QF)

That having been said, the best M41A attachment loadouts are as follows:

#1: Suppressor + RDS + Gyro (two M41s with these; maybe one with a mag in lieu of RDS)
#2: Extended + QF + Foregrip (the last slot is your call and is lowest priority; that said, Foregrip does substantially improve your fast firing 2 shot bursts)
#3: Suppressor + RDS + BFA (best at close-medium but highly effective at all ranges; mind the FF)
#4: Barrel Charger + RDS + Foregrip (Foregrip is least necessary but I recommend it)
No other post in this thread matters, this is the meta. These are the Tier 1 Pulse Rifle comps and every other combination is strictly worse. As far as #2 is concerned, QF/EB/UGL is also good, but with Queen's newish immunity to nade stun UGL isn't as good (and QF/EB/UGL has already been mentioned in this thread anyway.) Also, QF/EB/Masterkey is fucking sweet when you're a B18.

Skele stock and QF on the same gun is an affront to humanity. Those monstrosities deserve to be melted in acid puddles.

QF and EB on the pulse rifle is pretty deadly. Bonus points if you get AP or grenades. if you somehow get both, xenos will fear you.

M41 does a lot of damage IF you spam your bullets and they hit. Attachments that assist in these two factors and do not detract from spammability will take you far.

No attachment will save you from a hunter hitting his pounce and keeping you tackled, or getting hit from a crusher, or from getting hit by boiler acid, or from being screeched.

You just need 3 things as a marine:

1) Light

2) Aim

and

3) AP

If you can get those, you'll survive longer than the rest

Also, daily reminder to never use attachments that decreases your firing speed.

Rail Scope, Bipod, and extended barrel.

You are a great asset to defending FOBs, since the aliens like to sit right outside your view range before darting in to attack. You however, can still see them, and also call out where the mounted smartguns need to be shooting too.

Best attachments, not most situational builds.

Just, vanilla rifle with flashlight is awesomely robust on CQC. Just toggle the burst fire button, if you're good enough, you can hold back 3 xenus.

Got QF EB, had beaten the shit out of a drone when a spittah and a runnah came like : Y U SO MAD BRO ?

Pounced me the shit, managed to get up and took my awesome secondary rifle with flashlight and already burst rifle enabled, damn, managed to crit the drone, the spitter and the runner when help arrived.

Vanilla rifle is robust as fuck against on emergencies. Never doubt it. Attachments must reflect your gamestyle. QF EB is very good to kill downed Xenos (stun/crit) or to provide pin-point accuracy firepower, or suppressive fire.

Burst-fire loadouts (such as RDS FG + optional BC if you manage to find one) are most like the raw power shit you need when you're ON THE FIRST LINE OF THE FRONT LINE.

QF EB got limited FF due to the fact that you're single firing. You can manage to land 2 bullets max before you brain is saying : WOAH DAMN BRO ! YOU'RE KILLING THE FUCK OUT OF THIS POOR MARINE.

QF EB is also good at DPS with a foregrip to make the rapid fire 2 shot bursts good.

As burst goes, RDS + Suppressor + BFA outside of dual gyros is pretty much where it's at.
