I think the most amazing update was the close air support system, something that I wouldn’t have thought was possible on this platform when I first started. Now we are eagerly awaiting the addition of tanks.

Three years already? Damn, time passes quickly.
CM has really come far from when I started playing during pre-alpha, with BoxStation as the "Nostromo" and corroders. Back then, having map voting was seen as impossible. Mortars were on the "not happening" list, and player numbers were low. After the alpha launched, CM continued to grow, despite multiple setbacks like the leak in 2016, and more recently the feweh situation. Still, the dev team keeps cranking out new and exciting features, like CAS, medevac, and mortars to name a few.

Here's to another great year of CM, and a big thanks to the team behind it.

I remember my first round around two years ago, and since then I've been fascinated how CM has been changing. As much as I have not played recently, CM will always be a great server, even though sometimes I want to go back in the past just to relive the good old days I had here.

Ha, kidding, but real shit, this has been a good ride all throughout. I've been here essentially since it first came around, off and on atleast...Fuck the Nostromo, never again ;-;...But real shit, I remember the times way back when when our only custom alien was the Ravager, you didn't have to two hand the rifles, and FOBs were entirely unknown, the best thing being fort retard in engineering, then I came back for a bit whenever LV became a thing, in it's infancy, when hugger combat reigned supreme and all marines were butthurt 24/7, survivor was a job people wanted really badly so they could get in that Ripley and kick ass with it in secure storage, when cloning was finally removed, then defibbing finally added, I was here for the first pred round, and for another got to have a machete duel with one (I lost, horribly, btw.) And here we are today, my once thought as a pipe dream wish to have two POs per ship, CAS, Mortars, all well fleshed out as best as you could get in the BYOND engine. Good job Apop, and cheers to hoping for another three...And don't move to Unitystation or I'll join the staff just to eat your ass. (If I could finally get remembered by anyone for once, that is.)

By far my favorite memory so far would have to be when I was a survivor and managed to hole up in secure storage with some other random guy, steal a crate full of helmets from the marines (this was hugger combat times, so essential), a sentry gun, and a box of mines, then proceeded to survive longer than the marines, managing to kill a two praetorians (one of which I got with the Ripley drill) and almost the queen...Almost...Atleast I get another 3 years to try and do it again, if all goes well.
