Yep- as I've been playing more and more Executive Officer, Staff Officer, and Squad Lead, I've slowly been working more and more on my Commanding skills in general: organizing fireteams, coming up with plans mid-fight, the usual. And yeah- whenever I lack SOs I tend to be very on the move, because obviously it's going to be a LOT more work to organize and keep track of all the squads. So, yeah, I do tend to run the show during some rounds- and try to keep it without getting completely ridiculous. Thank you for the feedback!RobBrown4PM wrote: ↑09 May 2018, 20:51I've seen you in the XO role plenty. You seem to have a good grasp of commanding, running the CiC. You also seem to have a knack for running the show while lacking SO's.
+1
Good to know! XO has definitely been something I've been playing lots of lately, and I'm happy to know that I'm doing good. And with the evac thing- I just couldn't leave my children- erm, I mean marines behind like that, along with our Commander! Last thing I want is the Alamo returning 30 minutes later with a Mateba wielding Commander waiting to BE me. But seriously- thank you!
Good to see my increase in playing Command roles is getting noticed! Thanks!Blitz Muller wrote: ↑11 May 2018, 01:06I've seen you in CiC a fair few times in SO and XO and its a solid +1 from me.
Yep- I try to be well when it comes to my RP. Charlie has been my main squad for a while now- noting most of Stigg's close IC marine friends are Charlie mains as well, so I appreciate that you believe I do it well enough. As with the panicking and self-blame, I can see where you're coming from. I definitely will still have these little moments, but I don't intend for them to be over-the-top like some of my recent ones have been, and they'll happen less often. Thank you for the feedback and comments!Retrokinesis wrote: ↑12 May 2018, 00:10Very good RP in charlie squad and highly competent when I've seen him as XO, even with horrible meme command all around him. My one bit of constructive criticism would be maybe go a little lighter on the "I messed up and this is my fault" because it very rarely is, but that's super minor.
Easy +1 from me for what that's worth!
Alrighty- signing off for the night. Thank you all!
