Motion tracker in belt slot still works and shows the direction of benos.
You can afford to carry eight magazines still and tracker on belt if you're SL with large pouches.

Nah, you're good there.
It's a little buggy and weird that you can't stop items from disolving period when acid is applied, though I can understand why with the coding. I'm sure many new players are annoyed when their flare still melts after being removed from an acid puddle.

LV fog - it can be hard to time as a Xeno (Marines have their mission timer), but you can use the Byond client SS13 server list to figure out how long into a round you are (the mission timer is listed next to the server's name and population).

Also, LV fog clears from left to right - recently I've went past the fog and snagged a smallhost from the west before xenos in the centre even saw the fog drop.

Check the disposals regularly - you can sometimes find a lot of cool stuff people just throw out. IV bags, donor cigars (found that one once!), bodies, guns, ammo, you name it. One round I found enough incendiary shotgun ammo (the kind you only get from events) to fill an entire shotty. At least one xeno was not pleased with the fistful of fire they got served in their face...

Nothing ground breaking

Fire causes ammo to explode. The exploding ammo does some damage and stuns anyone on the same tile. Take a box of shotgun ammo, they have 5 individual ammo stacks, empty it and toss the ammo around.

Fire also causes grenades to explode around .5 seconds after they land on the tile or are set on fire. This reduces the time xenos have to run away and cocky ravagers and queens won't see it coming.

You can actually melt the light fixtures with xeno acid. This way marines won't be able to fix them.

The full body scanner/advanced scanner shows foreign bodies/body detected. therefore, if it's plural it's probably shrapnel.

You can load an M56 that is still inside the box with a drum, so grab one M56 drum, load the empty M56 (that is still INSIDE) the box, and BAM.
No need to load the actual gun on first set up.

Melee damage ignores armor, so a good melee weapon can take down the most powerful enemies.

Don't rely on this. I have before removed a larva and then shrapnel. It appeared, naturally, as foreign bodies.

A single piece of shrapnel will appear as foreign body.

B18 fires faster than you can pull the trigger. Use it when xenos ain't ready for it and butcher their boilers and carriers
Sniper is the one to keep the boilers busy and stops them from shooting, stay at a FoB and defend, and aim down those boilers

As Scout Spec - Load an Incendiary Mag - remove it, then load an impact mag. You’ll light a Xeno on fire, then stun them.

That's a neat little trick, I haven't thought of doing that before. Works for the Sniper aswell.

Just learned this today, beats me how I missed it for so long:

Phoron in chemistry is not one solid block, but a stack. Each individual unit of phoron grinds up to 20 units of liquid phoron. So don't grind the whole stack!

If a Xeno melts your light fixtures, you can make new ones with a small amount of metal sheets.

I've been able to see this once as an SO on a Prison run, and it allowed for a good RP moment in the CIC where we were able to corroborate what I viewed, reports coming in, and survivor testimonials to understand what was happening in it's entirety.

If an alien spits acid on your flares, just toss more flares on the same tiles. It's highly unlikely they'll have time to inspect, so it'll look like the flare on top is melting until the acid goes away!

You can actually melt welded vents. It might not let you enter those vents, but it will allow you to exit through the open pipe end at least.

Last I checked, putting acid on welded vents would "unweld" them, so they return to their normal state.

It is a trick xenos often forget when they manage to push into a position that may be retaken.

Holdout pistols fit in your helmet.

You can, I am pretty sure, block a screech with a smoke grenade. Seen it happen, not sure if it's actually a thing.

As a Medic, dissolving a pill of Tramadol, Kelotane, and Bicaridine into a flask of water is a nice little booster to have in your helmet for the people who don't need a whole lot of attention. Not sure if that's a no-no, however, since any Marine could take the flask and drink from it on their own.

Smoke does block the screech as long as you can't see the queen I believe, so if you're inside of it or if the queen is inside of it then it doesn't knock you over or stun you.

Now for my little trick:

Scavenging by deconstructing tables is inefficient unless you have no other option, because chairs and tables only give one metal. Deconstructing light fixtures and air alarms give you two, and deconstructing a door will give you four metal, and it takes roughly the same time as a table to deconstruct (if a bit more click intensive).

From what I heard, if you deconstruct a table and you autolathe it, you get 2 metal instead of 1 or something.
