Had a round at Prison Station where Squad Engis decided they really need to fill their sandbags, so they decided to get it from the memorial garden. I told them to fuck off, but they broke into engineering, hacked our doors and so on just to dig up the whole garden. Another one broke into engineering to hack a vendor. So much entitlement...

This is more of a PSA, cobbled together from several experiences. Firstly: If you are assigned to escort the tank? For God's sake, stop running -Into- the treads. I have seen too many Marines run headlong into the Longstreet, and then complain about the resulting contusions, abrasions, avulsions, punctures, tenderness and swelling caused by the bright idea of going 'Mann gegen Maschiren'.

Speaking of bright ideas: Shoving the Pyro into his own fire, and -Not- pulling him out, is, in fact, a jerk move. He may be flame-resistant, but that does a whole lot of diddly when he's paralyzed in his Kool Aid hued personal Hell, being stabbed by a Queen.

Alright, this is me.

First time I was playing SL
EDIT* THIRD time as SL
and one of the first rounds I was actively identifying with Delta, this was on Prison.. I think I mostly I did fine on all aspects, little bit of growth pains but nothing major.

We got orders from CO Carson to PUSH into the hive. My squad was closely nit and robust - perfect - and we caught the aliens with their pants down, Queen was ovied, we murdered around 5 xenos, including the queen.

We were being picked one by one, and we started a fighting retreat, I placed an OB down, to cover our exit. I informed the SO about this.

What did he do?
SLAMMED THAT LAUNCH BUTTON
While we were next to the OB.
I screamed, NO DO NOT FIRE
We died.

In retrospect, it wasnt the best OB placement, but it would have worked if the Y-axis was adjusted to the north a few tiles.

But yeah, the salt was real, against me and the SO. We were bald, both.

Recently had a round playing as a Researcher. I talked with the CL to get some Ultrazine. It took us about 20 minutes of roleplaying before I got the bottle. It was fun! But later on in the round, I saw the CL basically peddling Ultrazine like a drug dealer, talking with random marines or specs, offering them a hit. They eventually got raided by the MP at roundend. It was something...

But later on in the round, I saw the CL basically peddling Ultrazine like a drug dealer, talking with random marines or specs, offering them a hit. They eventually got raided by the MP at roundend. It was something...

Yes. I believe it was a Frenchman with a very strong accent. He was quite polite, actually. I remember the High Command announcement about the investigation.

(Not to mention she couldn't build FoB in ~ 15 minutes before aliens just came through Tcomms, cause, you know, it's quite easy to come through one unwired metal cade.)

If it makes you feel any better, I tried running CASEVAC, and as soon as I hit the launch button, the copilot switched it to 'Transport'.

Man, I was the Alamo pilot that round. At least you guys did some cool stuff. I was a 4 hour shuttle pilot hitting the same buttons over and over :P

So, how many people does it take to put down 2 Drones in Research Containment? If you said more than a dozen, including the CO, XO, SO, CMP, two MPs, three Mts, a doctor, a researcher and the CL, you would be correct!

The baldest guy I think I've ever seen was a medic who took the armor off a marine I found lying dead, attempted to defib without applying any kits, and then casually put the armor back onto the dead marine when the defib clearly failed as if nothing was wrong. Since I was watching this happen I yell at him that he didn't defib, to which he responds "yes I did" before checking his pulse and realizing he was, indeed, not revived. Thankfully another medic had ran up and started kitting, so when he attempted to defib a second time after taking the marine's armor off he successfully revived him.

The medic decided to bring the marine back to FOB, so I ran with to make sure they made it safely. While on the way the marine had flatlined, so the medic attempted to defib again; I yelled at the medic "I got the armor, just defib", and the medic got frustrated with me because he didn't seem to understand the concept of someone else taking the armor off while the medic attempted to defib. He strips the armor, he pulls out the defib, and he revives the guy, all the while a little miffed that I was telling him how to treat the dude when he hadn't been doing ANYTHING other than taking armor off, defibbing, and putting it back on. If there were no other medics around that dude would've gone braindead even though all he needed was kits and maybe some bicard for good measure.

Saw a Liason who threw on firefighter's bunker gear, helmet included, bald as a cueball, and chucked his Liason ID, instead wearing some B.S. 'Management' ID which, hilariously, was making the Alamo's sentries try to kill him.

He then peppersprayed the pilot for calling him a dumb asshole.

I was the CL there, the MPs wanted to arrest me for just being there. What a mess.

You keep posting these long-form unedited videos whenever you share a cool story. I appreciate that you want to share, but have you considered sharing screenshots or to-the-point clips instead? That would make me much more inclined to check out your channel afterward, and it would feel like much less of an entertainment cockblock when I just want to see some action. (Just my two cents)

I've been thinking about it, but that would consume a lot more time to edit them. Similarly, sometimes just showing some action might not be enough, you'd need some voiceover, maybe adding some music, etc. I don't think I could make such edited videos at this time.
