The event went pretty well. I think the main thing I noticed was more need for MPs, and that synth playing the negotiation game with xenos just makes the game drag on - viewtopic.php?f=64&t=17603 .

I would enjoy having an event, or some series of event that experiment with marine law. In particular, rounds where:
- MPs can give out punishments other than brig time (fines, special assignments, etc)
- There are no MPs in a round (at least one round like this would be interesting!)
- MPs can interpret the law more loosely

I thought that aside from the first round, which I doubt will repeat to many times, it went surprisingly well. There were a few stupid firefights amongst marines, but they never degenerated to anything unrecoverable. Otherwise, it was pretty fun and I had a good time throughout most of the rounds.

I feel like the main difference for players was that instead of having to ask admins to do something, then do it, instead you're expected to potentially justify it when the admins ask. I think most of the rules can just be lumped under "No griefing"

I can safely say the GRD was alot of fun.

I really enjoyed the extra freedom we had available to us, not feeling so entrapped by rules we had to dodge around was soooo fucking satisfying.

I hope that Rahlzel wants to do this gain in the future, I'd call this a MASSIVE success.
