If you wanna 1v1 a Crusher, I reccomend seeing a doctor to check your mental state first because you have to be a MADLAD. Keeping a distance and using AP usually helps though.

I 1v1ed a crusher by not wearing armor and having a throwing knife belt. Kept running around it in circles and throwing knives at it. It eventually ran off and I couldn't chase but I can proudly say I made a crusher run using throwing knives

Since you people apparently aren't getting it, standard melee is worthless vs the massive HP pool of Crushers, except as interim attacks between PB buckshot assblasts right in their dumb, smoothbrain faces.

#1: It has to actually be PB Buckshot or it will be reduced by armour.

#2: Damage is random; due to PB Buckshot having multiple projectiles, outcomes will bell curve (due to multiple rolls), but it's possible albeit unlikely to get low or high damage results.

Normally PB Buckshot devastates Young Crushers, but yes, some follow up (not a lot) will be needed to put down a full health one. Barrel charged PB buckshot should about instacrit them, or come close.

No really, 3 buckshot pb will crit up to elitd crushers.
Other than that; melee has 100% armor mitigatio it basically eats straight out of the crusher hp. Which isn't that insane if you remove the armor.

So melee and PB.

Edit: I just noticed everyone taking about PB so I'll make things clearer. A young crusher WILL be crit with two cuckshot PB. Mature might need a bayo stab between each. An elite 3 PB 3 stabs.

Basing on the ridiculous amount of crushers I pb'ed with no armor by outrunning the fucks.

EDIT: Or use BC. It drasticly increase PB damage and two BC PB will kill a young to matire ravager instantly.

in my experience as a crusher i often get PBed with buck, taking off most of my health however nobody ever follows up with AP or more pb and i easily get away. i recommend getting a unga buddy to doubleteam the crusher with

If the tank's nearby, have it force-feed the Crusher a tank shell. Most xenos are highly allergic to those and fall over in pain (not sure this is true for Crushers, though). Once it's down, if the tank has a flamethrower have it give out the second course and pepper it with AP from range. If the tank doesn't have a flamethrower but has an Overdrive module, just have it run the Crusher over a few times.

If the Crusher's immune to tank stuns and the tank has an Overdrive module, just have it sit in the Crusher's preferred charging path and when it hears stomping, charge straight ahead. Tanks always win these Tank/Crusher jousts.

If you knocked out an alien by ramming it FOR THE LOVE OF GOD fuck off and give marines room to fuck it up with PB bucksot or SINGLEFIRE (get a burst enable macro)..

Dolth, I was under the impression it could since I've seen a tank just run three xenos (of different classes) over multiple times and they all died, so either it was three different xenos of different castes at different levels of maturity that just so happened to have about the same amount of health, a single LBT shell can put T3s in crit, or something else happened to get their health low enough to die to that. Still, like I said, Hit them with a tank shell, set them on fire, and laugh as the marines pepper them with lead.

Also, for future reference, be careful about firing on a Crusher wildly from every angle. I remember a round where I was Crusher and got surrounded by marines. They kept firing for a good 2-3 seconds after I died and put at least three marines into crit as a result. If you somehow kill fellow marines afterwards, the dead Crusher will most likely find the situation hilarious in dead chat.

Most likely they were wounded already and bled out in crit under the tank but do believe me, I bet my dick on that, running over does NOT reset the stun timer if the alien is down already and it only does ONE TICK of damahe that roughly goes at 10 brute. Maybe 20 at very most and is VERY low.

Trust me on that really.

Also your LTB won't crit even a young lurker/sentinel/spitter if it hits at 1 or 2 tile.
No T3 at full health will ever crit from LTB AoE and while we are at it I advise you do direct hits because those hurts with an additionnal sheer damage. Just likee melee and PB bonus.

I know direct hits hurt. I've gibbed xenos with it before. Just pointing out that when 2-3 T3s get hit by an LBT shot and run over about five times before simultaneously dying, it's hard to look at it and say "nah, this doesn't do much damage to them if anything"

Does not work, they have a DISGUSTINGLY high tackle chance. The crusher will knock you over, stomp on you, and run away laughing while all your bones are broken.

Honestly the best thing to do is, if you have good reflexes, sidestep the Crusher's charge and then once it gets past, close ranks behind it and march back towards it in a single-file line across its easiest escape lanes. The moment it reaches your line, Just start shooting it and wrap around it to prevent it from getting away.

It literally only takes two marines to kill a Crusher even without buckshot if you know what to do. Yesterday I had a round where I accidentally stepped in front of a crusher after it punched through our defenses and it started pushing me into a group of xenos. Managed to do enough damage in my panic for another marine to finish the job before going back to get treatment.
