Re: Haw'Ke (Flaming Wheels)
I think to deny this beautifully written, eloquent and unique application on any grounds aside from the most severe rule breaks on the server would be a tragedy. The story that this application presents is so well crafted and beautiful that, frankly, I think it belongs in an institution of higher learning on grounds of its complex plot, deep existentialist themes and clear philosophical undertones, but with understanding that this post was made with a purpose in mind I will digress. There is, quite literally, absolutely nothing wrong with this application in any objective manner, and even with the context of the application removed entirely, the story is still so deep and impactful that I truly think it would sell if it was available for purchase. The literary craftsmanship and long hours put into designing such a remarkable peace of work really shine through with the finished product, and show the deep thought and true effort that went into this glorious masterpiece. That story shows that the player is clearly capable of designing deep narratives off of which to base his in character actions and the unique playstyle shows a real spark of creativity that very, very few people are blessed with on this Earth.
To elaborate further on the importance of the playstyle in this application, the way that it would interact with both the marines and the xenos and allow for truly interesting, deep, unique roleplay potential can truly not be overstated. The philosophical questions regarding the wheelchair, the nervous, paranoid twitches while the marines scour about searching for the source of the squeaking of the wheelchair wheels, all of these will make every round with this predator an event to be remembered. It will improve rounds to a an almost surreal degree, and the immersion that it will present to the players involved will cement their love of the round, the roleplay and the game at large as they truly realize what roleplay masterpieces can be brought to light by such experienced and talented roleplayers.
Truly this application is artwork in the most pure of forms, and anything but a unanimous chorus of "+1" will truly disappoint me in regards to the capability of the predator base to understand such a nuanced and beautiful short story about love and loss, failure and triumph, hard work and strife, and most of all, disability and inaction. Re-reading this story again for the tenth time has, once more, sent shivers down my spine, brought a tear to my eye on multiple occasions, and fills me with a triumphant joy as our glorious hero escapes the belly of the beast, slaying the monster in the darkness and finally growing into a man! I could go on for hours, truly, but I think that this brief summary of my thoughts on the matter should suffice for now. Truly, Drkin, truly art. You should be proud of yourself, you've written a short story to join the classics my friend. Bravo.

Perfection, and I'm not being sarcastic.
Due to the applicant having decided to consider this app 'official', so to speak, I am sorry to inform, but being funny is not enough to be whitelisted. We are sarcastic to a limit, but you should not expect something from a top-tier shitpost. -1

It has been moved back as a request from the applicant. This is no longer a joke thread and consider this app a proper predator app.

Re: Haw'Ke (Flaming Wheels)
Absolutely not.
Predator's are suppose to provide a new level backbone for Roleplay in a round, this is not what we're looking for.

Re: Haw'Ke (Flaming Wheels)
Oh since this is now a serious appeal, I will personally say that the story does show exactly how you will hunt, though the overall problem is it breaks the code of honor and lore completely in regards to how predators are supposed to act in the game.
-1 from me. Though if anything I'm going to wait for it to get more votes from senior staff... as it was treated as a joke then not.

Re: Haw'Ke (Flaming Wheels)
I can see your reasoning behind it, and the logic is flawless. However in the lore I can tell that nothing pains a predator more than to see one of their brothers become unworthy of hunting. Thus, the Yautja were ecstatic to see their primitive predispositions of crippled predators being unable to hunt as false. The predators as a whole are evolving, and so is their culture. They can now send their handicapable brothers back into combat and join them on hunts under the tribe of Haw'Ke.Aceluke123 wrote: ↑08 Jul 2018, 21:02Oh since this is now a serious appeal, I will personally say that the story does show exactly how you will hunt, though the overall problem is it breaks the code of honor and lore completely in regards to how predators are supposed to act in the game.

Re: Haw'Ke (Flaming Wheels)
I've changed my vote, given you're intending this as a serious application. Funny as it is, we can't have predators blazing through the battlefield on wheels guns blazing. We just can't handle those levels of salt. It's too soon. CM isn't ready yet.
