Anyone here that says the Stock automatically losses 100% of his/her credibility.

EDIT: Melee damage ain't no excuse to use it, since point-blank being fixed no need to have a ghetto machete that fires at the speed of a turtle (you switch to shotgun instead and PB the bitch). If you want melee damage grab an actual machete. Also it doesn't add that much of melee damage a lone bayonet will do the same job.

So, just more of a im curious not sure whats good combo's for each weapon (other than the specs as those are obvious mag or nothing) So do tell me your opinions especially on the HPR since i've been wanting to try one for a while.

Also this is my first post even though i've skulked for a long long time so Hello! I currently Play as Liz "lit" Thatcher since the character wipe not on every day but do go back to back rounds on weekends.
M41A MK 2 PULSE RIFLE FOR FUCKING LIFE!11
I strap a mag harness, laser sight and bayonet so i don't lose my gun even if i am captured, i close range combat alot so stabby stabby and laser sight will counter the bayonet and mag harness accuracy penalty and also give me a less spread on burst fire and i main squad lead so i just vend a full ammo belt with AP M41A magazine

Pulse Rifle with rail scope, extended barrel, and forward grip.

You become a better sniper rifle plus xenos never expect to be shot at from behind the front lines. You can even burst fire with decent accuracy! Also, you can provide so much intel with the scope, you are a huge asset.

How do you use the railscope with macros though? I cant seem to do it anymore myself. It takes too much time and effort to click the railscope from the icon top left

I don't use any macros, just click the damn button. When you are pulling up the scope you are stationary anyway, so not like you have to be super quick about it.

QF,GRIP,EB was the greatest setup by far in this game. It earned special place in my heart.
Now i think it's only something for aim like grip or rds, anything else is just a waste.
Aslo how sparse is AP rounds now?

Qf doesn't fit on anything that can use a grip

Quick fire is a rail attachment. You're probably thinking of the burst fire adapter.

Quick fire doesn't fit on M41A Mk2 Pulse Rifles anymore, but when it did marines could put tons of firepower down range. You could blast through magazines and still control it with the other attachments, and AP mags would really pump up it's killing power.

Only thing that comes near this now would be burst fire adapter, red dot sight, and silencer to get somewhat tight spread 5 round bursts. Less controllable, but sends out bullets faster.

Like I said, QF only goes on pistols that don't get grips.

And HPR ruins Req with all the snowflakes thinking they are robust with the weapon.

Maybe one or two are truly are, the rest are bald, and cost 60 points (except for the lootbox HPRs).

++++++++++++++++++++++++ damn HPR is almost useless. Most of the time you just make more unwanted attention from ayys and marines.
Waste of points.

Shotgun stock, v-grip, rail flashlight and bayonet. This is good slug combination. Since Slug stun is too short that even without stock you can't hit beno twice, so added accuracy is valuable and longer "cooldown" is irrevelant. Shooty in this combination that I call "Enlightened" stuns benos from afar and let Pulse Rifle marines to end the job. It isn't 1vs1 combination, but deals with pesky T1 and T2 quite good in group of 3-4 marines. Bayonet and stock also helps with crushers.

IF you want stun only go with EB instead of stock. Stock is one of the most useless attachments in game.

Shhh... Shhhh... Don't listen to her, she really don't think that you are useless little stocky... Don't cry.

EB do nothing for bullet spread that is dangerous to other marines if you are not totally up front with slugs. I could change bayonet for EB for real ghetto sniper without scope, yet I feel like I need bayonet more than more accuracy that is decent with stock and v-grip, even with minus from bayonet. "Enlightened" needs to be sticky resin cleaner.

M41A:
RDS+V-Grip (BC optional) - accurate with controled bursts
RDS+UGL (2 HEDP loaded) - extra accurate and the ability to stin xenos, especially boiler/praes.
Rail light - Its free and useful when no other alternatives around.

Shotgun:
RDS+Angled Grip - accrurate and quick to wield.
Mag harness + Angled grip - your trusty buckshot whenever you’re downed.
Rail light + bayonet - clasic choice when no attchment are available

Pistols:
Rail light + laser sight - this is your sidearm if anything, rail light is going to help you navigate and the laser sight will help your aim.

HPR:
RDS+V-Grip - more accruate and controllable bursts, engage from mid range. Aim to suppress xenos at choke points with the volume of fire instead of going in for the kill. Youre a support role.

M4RA:
V-Grip+Suppressor - Negates recoil and doesnt attract unwanted attention. May lead to FF because of marines not noticing you shoot and getting in your line of fire.

M92 grenade launcher:
Magharness + M15 Frags - Dont lose your gun. A barrage of six M15s is CAS tier.

I have my own list of approved attachment combos when I play RO. If someone asks for a stock or something equally bad like a recoil comp, I deny it.

Wat?

Also MAG+AG is probably the most comfortable setup for m41 now, at least for me. Optionally you can carry LS for more defensive rounds(like all60% of them).

Well: Stock reduce bullet spread (Bullet spread is when bullet does not go straight when you clicked) and this is important since you can shoot one slug at the time. Reducing bullet spread also reduce possible FF and makes you live longer, becouse you can constatly stun benos at distance when they run directly at you. Stock combined with v-grip gives you two "slight" spread decrease which makes those "unlikely" shots occure even less. Thanks to that you will nearly always shoot at the direction you want.

Bayonet and stock easly "clear" walls and resin so this gives "Enlightened" two purposes. Despite how much I "love" "One mission, One purpose".

Stock is good if you want to be support, not that glorious robust marines I read about in Dchat and OOC, or see imagines in Delta thread who admit that they killed 8 xenos this round. Sometimes there are more than several and by "Quick Maths" 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 32. Also add few kills by CAS and other marines and you can reach 50-60. How did Marines lose those rounds? Maybe someone is lying.

If you enjoy stunning beno that thanks to that will be killed by other marines, then it is good. If you have to get "killer boner" then you will cry about shoot delay, becouse you can't 1vs1.
