Heinz Mueller

I was an MP at the start of a round with him as CO. At the time I was as new as could be and didn't fully understand the server rules, so when an SL started a briefing brawl over me charging them for improper usage I blamed myself for it. I put the resulting launch delay all on me. I was OOC feeling like a waste of space so when I randomly bumped into Heinz alone in a hallway I asked him if he wanted me to stop serving the ship, expecting to be BE'd on the spot. I intended to take off my beret and glasses and just eat the Mateba shots, but instead he said it wasn't for him to decide.
I still don't know what he was talking about. Did he just forget that only the Chief MP specifically were immune to BE's? I don't know, but I was floored to still be in the round.

MP again. In a previous round we had scuffled over her having an SG in hand in the briefing room. In the following round she was SG again. As briefing was about to begin I heard an SG misfire somewhere offscreen. Falkner was the first SG to walk into my line of sight so I questioned her about it first. Before I could actually inspect her ammo she started fussing in LOOC about me metagriefing them. I laughed it off in LOOC but actually I was pretty shaken by the fact that someone thought I was trying to spoil their round maliciously.
We ended up talking about it later OOC'ly and have become pretty amicable with each other since.

One of my very first rounds as an MP, Chance asked me for a spare beret at round start. I asked the CMP about it, who said "nope", and that was that. Later, though, I overheard on the radio that Chance was the firs marine to be crabbed that round. I happened to run into him near medbay later still and mentioned this to him, then threw him my own beret. After that I had to sneak into brig to get a replacement before the CMP noticed.

I was CMP. We'd already met. Nan is IC mute and OOC has English as a second language. I was in the brig for some reason or other when MP Charlton Byers radios me that he'd bagged her for something or other. I never for certain figured out why (the only sure witness, the RO, cryo'd when I went to investigate for myself later). When Byers brought her to brig I took Nan from him to my office and closed the shutters. He'd savaged her with his baton (I was too worried about Nan to think to ahelp). It was a bad scene and she seemed unhappy IC and OOC. She and I went back and forth, with her writing me something then me speaking. After setting her straight she agreed to stay and talk to me for a bit. This wasn't the first time she had been in a confusing situation where I or other MP's gotten involved and I talked to her about this. I was trying to simply tell her that because she can't speak others could easily misread her intentions and so she should be careful. She didn't take it that way, though, and I think she thought I was mad at her and so got very sad. So I changed track and tried to emphasize how appreciated she was. It didn't work. I thought quickly and remembered that Alice Falkner had mentioned her positively in her dossier, posted here just before this episode happened. When I asked Nan if she knew of this she shook her head, and I gave her a link to it here on the forums. After a moment of looking at it she started using a lot of happy Me's and perked up a lot. Then I let her go.

CMP again. It's about late-mid round and I hear from one of my MP's that Hakim had turned himself in, but without specifically naming for what. When Hakim is brought to the brig I take over and handle him alone. Hakim then asks me what charges have the death penalty, and when I tell him he says, "yeah, I did all those."
I saw right through it. I tell him I think he's either suicidal or just doesn't want to drop. He admits that it's the former, due to everyone treating him like shit the whole round and, IIRC, feeling like there was no point in trying anymore. I called that out for the BS it was, told him the truth that was that his squad needed him, and gave him the spare CMP beret and a frosted donut. Apparently it did the trick as he promptly reversed out of his dejection.

My very last sentimental moment in Military Police before my jobban and the one I'm most proud of because she was such a challenge. There had been a Carson round earlier that day with me as CMP and her squad had mutinied. In the confusion of it I caught her alone and tased her in the south CIC hallway with Alpha, her squad, ransacking the CIC. She radio'd for help after I cuffed her and the only way I could see both of us alive was to strip her radio and bucklecuff her to a chair in one of the unused rooms near CIC. Somehow the mutiny calmed down enough for me to come and follow through with setting her free (Carson was revived and gave a post-mutiny speech, an Admiral showed up and to top it all off the Marines beat the boarding aliens).
2 rounds later IIRC, I'm CMP for like the last time and Erika is brought up as a survivor. According to her and my MP's, my MP's had stunned her immediately as she stepped off the DS (I wasn't there for it). A chase follows, and by chance she's tased right at my feet as I pass through brief. My MP's cuff her, but before they can haul her off I sent them away and grabbed Erika for myself. I took her to the maint shaft south of R&R to be alone with her. The whole way IIRC she was screaming, "fuck you," "I'll kill you Titus," "I don't care anymore, just tase and baton me as much as you want, Titus!"
I held nothing against Erika, because why would I? She was just a little squad player trying to have fun. I could tell she was having the opposite, IC & OOC. So I gave myself a mini-quest: fix Erika Waden's CM experience as best I could.
I told her a lot of things, both in Say and LOOC. She admitted to being sore over my tasing her in the Carson round. On top of that she majorly dejected this round over how everyone else had treated her. Nothing worked at first with talking to her but I refused to give up. Eventually I think one or both of the below got through:
1: I told her I wasn't worth spoiling her whole round over.
2: If I detested her so much, then why was I spending so much effort to get her calmed down enough to come to CIC for an ID upgrade?
After those she finally consented to going to the CIC. I uncuffed her and she picked up her pouches that I'd searched before coming on her own to the CIC where I upgraded her ID as "Almayer Passenger." Then I remembered how what I'd done with Hakim had seemed to work, and I went and gave her the same spare CMP beret and donut. She immediately put it on, said "thanks" and I let her go. Medbay later told me that an Antony Mayers had gunned her down in a drunken rampage, but the round ended before I could investigate.
I haven't seen her once since this but I hope Erika's having a better time now.
