Preach, that's exactly how I feel.

I've seen some many people claiming that one thing or another diminish the RP of the round, but then go ahead and do something so blatantly low RP that hurts. Like specifically asking the commander something stupid, skipping every NCO and junior officer above them that could easily answer that or calling someone by their first name. That would never happen in real life, and it honestly completely shatters my immersion, but this is a MedRP and people are just playing a game so I don't (normally) complain.

Nicknames make sense and are cool yeah. Get kinda iffy when you're in command as a CO or XO but I'd say SO's and lower nicknames would be pretty go to for most people. Then again, some people make long ass nicknames or nicknames no ones ever gonna call them. I think more people call me Disco irl then anyone ever called me Disco in game.

As player witness of this guy; he is being flattened into a 1-dimensional figure others. Let me make him at least 3-dimensional by adding 2 character traits I noticed besides "paperu": attentiveness and speed. Everything else I want to say Kesserline said very well on the previous page.

Everytime Katashi was my LT or SL I always survived just listening to his orders or whatever. His accent doesn't bother me I understand it well lol. Its just a RU at the end of his words if you can't understand or read the orders you might want to use a Rosetta stone and learn English some more. I don't find his accent distracting lol from what I've seen he's toned it down though guess ya made him stop.

Wow, reading the report and the OP, this is silly. People complaining about a player who does good RP, plays the game and doesn't break rules but people want him gone cause he's not playing how they want him to, IE as PC as possible.
Come on guys, if you can't handle some divirsity in the characters in the game you should take a look at yourself. If I am an african american and I say my nigga in game, that's not being racist as plenty of african americans say that in real life and for whatever reason they feel. The fact you're trying to remove this part of a character that is entirely realistic and actually happens due to accent for the paperu then you're actually picking on the differences because of the race.
TL;DR you're being a racist because other races speak differently and you don't like that. It's a game, have fun, meet people, enjoy yourself. Don't like how someone talks, walk 8 tiles that way.

The times I'd play as specialist or a corporal role and get placed into a temporary squad leader position, people would complain about the sheer intensity of my accent ingame but I don't ever recall being adminhelped or bwoinked over it--aside from someone asking if my keyboard broke. Adding "eru" or "u" to the end of your words or other silly and small changes is, personally, quite an interesting way of roleplaying. While perhaps other people may not enjoy the more verbalized accent, I think it adds some amusement and flavour to your character. If someone is willing to type out an accent and roleplay with it, they're also much more visible candidates for players to try to engage in roleplay with (in my opinion) as they're at least putting some visible effort in.

Though, communication in command-related roles is important and some clarity is always nice. Gimmicks like this can be an absolute blast but work better in lower priority roles.
