Problem is Marines ALWAYS engage predators first and in squads. This gives Predator free reign to "USUALLY" not follow the honor code and unload on them. Its been said a million times, you will not beat a Predator 1 vs 1 as a Marine.

Most of the Predators are experienced players who are in rounds to spice things up. If you go out of your way to hunt the predator then dont be shocked when youre killed.

Too often people get tunnel vision and turn it into a personal vendetta to kill a Predator.

Had that happen during a round when we had not engaged the marines once and all of a sudden marines came into our hunting lodge and just started blasting us without a word, they took one predator down, but the rest of us wiped out the whole squad. The marines had saw us through our invisibility while scouting and were so trigger happy to engage the preds that they lost a whole squad which costed them the round because after that we considered marines targets to be hit by us and I even wiped out a few more marines for the death of one of our clans mates. A fun little fact for that would be if you are not engaged by the predators, probably shouldn't go give them a reason to hunt you.

As Feweh said, most of the people who are whitelisted just want to rp as predators why we have the honor code as well as not really engaging targets. I usually just watch the battles of xenos vs marines, but if you attack another predator and I hear about it, whoever did it becomes a target for reprisal. I get wanting the glory of killing a predator, but you really don't get any glory if you have to use a whole squad to kill one, if you want to be truly known, then fight it in 1v1 combat and win. A few people have done it and have been acknowledged by the predator players. If you try to murderbone the predators though then don't expect them not to fight back and give you a bad day.

+1 on admin trial runs

Admins have to approve you as a pred in the first place, so it's really up to them to observe you. I get the intention, but I'm not sure it's needed. Maybe in the future when there are more predators whitelisted?

This makes a lot of sense to me. Marines are not superheroes. The jungle predator took on a squad of highly trained, well equipped jungle mercs and wiped the floor with most of them.

It would be better to keep them staff regulated as your "top three" would more likely be a mentor than a random player.
Yeah, the elite would just be watching. And teaching. I have to imagine it's not easy playing pred for the first time X3
