A combat Mech platform (2 total on the ship, pilots spawn with them, they would only be fixable on the sulaco)

Individual "drop-pods" (Marines would get "locked" into a pod, it would be jettisoned into space and crash on the planet in a random position, except, they could be launched in groups of 8)

Mercenaries (occasionally spawned as a third faction, with independent objectives. They may or may not align with the marine goal)

Reinforcement Shuttle (A one-time use shuttle that can be called from the bridge, turning any ghosts who want to be, into replacement "standard" marines. They'd receive random names)

Rebel Round (rebels start on the planet with supplies, and get 20 minutes to prepare defenses before the marines try to retake the planet)

For me a new enemy, aka Rebel, would help to reduce the repetitivness of rounds and would be a massive breath of fresh air for me personally.

That's kinda funny because it's currently winning by a long shot. I think the reason for this is because it mixes up the game a little bit. A "Breath of fresh air", as was said.
Side note: I didn't know that there WAS another server that did what we do but with humans v humans
TLDR: Go back and read it. I spent time writing that, ya know.

there isn't one, those people at hippie, paradise, bay and goon are all whiners who go on about roleplay all day but in reality what they mean is only some people get to have fun some of the time while everyone else just has to sit around doing nothing all day so they can be an audience to the awesomeness of the players who actually get to do cool shit (or the epic fail), here at least we actually DO stuff, some of the jobs are bored half the time (medical doctor when wounded arent coming in is fucking pointless) but at least the other half of the time we have alot to do which is more then those lamers can claim.

still somewhat hoping that Rebal rounds won't just be a straight up Human V Human death match. Would love to see some non-combatants that can be easily confused and killed for negative points or something.

Because that was literally the worst mistake our staff had ever fucking made. Same for the game Colonial marines. It would have been good. IF IT DID NOT HAVE FUCKING HUMAN ENEMIES IN A ALIENS GAME!
THE AMMOUNT OF PEOPLE WE HAVE TO BAN EVERY FUCKING TIME A REBEL ROUND HAPPENS IS UNACCEPTABLE! I CAN NOT EVEN START TO EPLAIN THE AMMOUNT OF BULLSHIT I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH WHEN IT COMES TO THEM!!
I am going to get SUPER FUCKING PISSED if I keep talking about that anymore. It was a NIGHTMARE for staff

The best capacity for Human v Human conflict should just be a rare side antagonist, akin to the WY Mercs maybe having a small chance (sub 5%) of spawning in a round with a randomly assigned objective that is not guaranteed to cause conflict with the Marines.

I would love to see an occasional Human vs Human round, just because we're the only server that could host such a thing. What if I WANT to play CoD from time to time?*

Combat mechs /sound/ like a cool idea, until you realise aliums will just run circles around you and bust up your mech, which can only be repaired when its not planetside.

It's popular because it sounds fun to alot of us. There would still be alien rounds.

I should add, im for the reinforcements ship, getting marines back into the round would be fun.
