But in all seriousness I love effective combat engineering. Laying a hidden mine that allows marines to get a kill, setting up safe electro-grilles, doing rapid-fire maintenance to an under-siege fob, maintaining sentries, the list goes on. In the days of the Nostromo I loved being the one the Squad Leader called on to clear the path forward. When it comes to interaction with other marines I pretty much always get along so long as they don't throw needless shade my way, steal my covetous brown webbing vest or destroy my barricade. Also if you push me when I'm placing a barricade I may actually weld your feet to the floor.

I normally play as MP, the "Good Cop" Joseph Alkek.

Normally I have to break up a fight or deal with generic idiotic marines. I also don't trust any MP whose name I don't recognize, because for all I know they could be one of those asshats that whack people with batons because "lel shitcurity". Shitcurity gets brigged if Alkek sees it.

I'll also sometimes play medical. Playing medical or MP I just pretend that everyone else is fucking stupid and doesn't know how to play, that I'm the only competent person in the department.

It usually works, because sometimes I am.

Pro tip: Read the medical wiki BEFORE you decide to play doctor for the first time.
