Make the stun weapon single use. Simply making them have few uses and very expensive to make/get would discorrege people abusing them. Whether it is something we want in the game, I think we should wait until the current work on the RnD update is finished and well tested.

It's a bouncing betty. The fact that it "explodes" limits it to one use.

Actually, I had some inspiration. One of the things you'll be able to make from research will be a "Hive Disruptor". It'll have one shot, and when hit, it will stun a Xeno depending on the quality of "Hive Node" used to make it. Basically, it will weaken the Xeno, and flash their screen white, allowing capture. However, it WILL require a hive-node and Chitin, meaning you'll get a max of one of them, per Xeno killed if your content on never researching anything else again (since, you get chitin and a single organ from a Xeno). Also, depending on the Xeno size, it may not give enough Chitin, meaning it could be 1-2 xenos per single "Disruptor".

Oooh! What will be the tier requirements other than a dead xeno? 10/10 would set Researcher to High priority if this is added.

Not sure the "requirement" yet, other than, the components would need to be a hive node and chitin.

What if after taking one alive, you could periodically harvest chitin off of it at the expense of its health? If you play it smart, you can end up with renewable research material. If you're reckless, you kill your test subject. If you're careless, it breaks loose and you die.
