-1: I would comment on this saying that unless their we manage to get an obstacle that runners cannot run over quickly, mines are the only decent way to counter runners. They are also terribly weak when it comes to evolved aliens or aliens who are cautious. Mines are a passive weapon and i have no sympathy for those who wander though and trigger them.

Also, proposal to deny and lock thread. There seems to be a large majority of -1's.

You guys who say "Ban hiding landmines" realize that, that's all you do with landmines, you cover them with dirt and/or rubble and watch them go boom. If you disable hiding them then disable melting them.

The fuck is this "only way to counter runners" shit?

Bullets. Literally bullets from any gun is how you counter runners. Even an ancient runner is dead in like 6 bullets.

That said, this suggestion is 100% "get good and shut up" material. Mines are important for marine defense and easy for crushers to clear.

-1 , aliens have many buffs over marines and this is just annoyed runner players who don't look where they are going. Aliens can hide huggers so marines can hide mines , big whoop.

Landmines are fine tbh. Play more responsibly and always take a crusher amongst your team (WHY DON'T YOU HAVE ONE TO BEGIN WITH?!) Crusher being useless? Tell the queen so she directly orders him to do stuff and ahelp if he refuses.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.
