Re: queston, why is dragging powerpacks meta
Honestly I feel the powerpack should be bigger as the smartgun is something of a suppressive fire weapon. Think of it this way,the powerpack has 200 rounds AND uses the extremely valuable backpack slot, meanwhile a standard marine can fit 220 m4a1 rounds in his belt which means he keeps the backpack slot for it`s million and one other uses (including 220 more rounds if he's silly). To me this don't add up as worthwhile at all.

There's some discussion on some changes. But dragging a power pack just looks so freaking stupid.

Thats... kind of funny, actually. I've seen plenty of marines carry a power pack in their hands, while someone gets yelled at for dragging one. I mean, if it's such a big deal, you can always have a regular marine wear/carry it.Gentlefood wrote: I got yelled at for carrying it around in my hand because the wording made me think it was only to prevent you from dragging it behind you. So no, carrying the second power pack down at all is against the rules now.

The powerpack is good enough for sure, it carries in its mag and has another 150 ready to reload, its perfectly fine as is, leave it be.
