A xenoborg event. Complete with fine manipulation and the ability to blend into a hive, It would be a "test run" of a new infiltration class borg. Of course, this would have to be a mdi round thing, using information scientists at central have gathered for it. Of course, it'll be full of bugs and all sorts of fun things.

A event of a Ship Vs Ship where one side has 99% of its crew NPC's (which are not dumb as fuck, but actually have some brains in them) while the rest are players (if they want to join them), and the other is just purely players, the objectives are random each round, going from a thing which at least 4+ marines can do, to where you have to send the entire marine force to do it, and you need to do it *tactically* or else...

CM, L4D edition. All regular aliens are NPCs, and they respawn. Up to four xeno players may be present in the game as tier two, they also respawn. Tier three aliens are occasionally spawned in at choke points from the dead player pool, but they can't leave the area. The goal is for the marine team to make it through some derelict/cave system/megastructure to the queen, who spawns as a player when they get there, and end her.

Ss13 has always had the perfect system set up for ship vs ship or station vs station.

Im surprised no one has thought of it yet as a server.

Oh we have, it's just very difficult to make. Imagine all the lag generated from a single supermatter, powenet, and atmospipes. Now, double that.

That's also a good point. Still, it would be an interesting thing to see, though it's understandable with what byond is and it's inherent lag, it's naturally impossible without ALOT of tweaking.

An event that takes into account the new cargo containers. The one located in the north most storage OBP will have something being contained to benefit one sides. Marines will get a message stating "Weyland has some equipment in a container, hold the vicinity for X amonut of time", and if they do, yay, guns or robots or some bullshit.

Xeno's will get a message stating "The hivemind reverberates, as a long lost voice awakens", and they'll have to overtake the cargo container vicinity, and hold it. if they do, they get some t3's, an empress, or (god forbid) a corroder.

Why the storage OBP weyland one you ask? Simple. Due to the fact that OBP is most debatibly the least defendable because of the entire missing side, it would be fair game to try to hold it.

Details: Basically a super-Ravager with all their stats except speed doubled. Ravagers are already fast as fuck.
Warning if it is in place: The Red Queen has awoken. The jungles will run red with blood...
Drawbacks: No ravagers while the Red Queen is alive, and the lucky player would be on equal footing with the Queen.

A twist on Blackdragons assassin event. One assassin who's hostile to everyone (the bad guy), and an elite trained weyland assassin, sent to the planet to handle the target issue. They would both have modified helmets and armor of course, to give them a real dangerous feel, and make it so it's not viable to "Lolhugger" end the event.

An even in which all Marines' ID cards are replaced by dogtags, much to the shock and awe of everyone involved.

Also maybe a round of Whiskey Outpost in the nexus, defending against hordes of weak but oh-my-god-plentiful xenos.

We actually instead of Xeno's have a surprise militia that the marines don't know about and will think are xenomorphs before they land and start taking fire.

an event where marines only get bayonets and sticks and the xenos get 2 huggers and slashes are DE buffed to do a very low amount brute. By the end it'll just be a big boxing match where a marine goes up against a T1-T2 with just a bayonet...perfect round

There are already some...one I think...helmet in the game that is nigh hugger proof and that's the ape suit mask. If you get infected with that on...something robust happened.

true, however, my thought was that I'm sure there is a variable, that can more or less be adjusted, for that one round, for the assassins helmets.

A Young Sentinel can stun lock you with spit and spam the same hugger over and over against your face.

Ah..a ship vs ship battle. Pirates perhaps? Perhaps we could just simulate there being another ship with the Sulaco being bombed randomly (by admins) and pirates being spawned in to board. MTs certainly wouldn't get bored. Although..perhaps there should be a grace period before bombs actually breach the ship, or make it so that MTs have to constantly do something or else the next bombing will breach.
