Changing my vote to +1. Make it cause burn damage instead. Xenos shouldn't be able to get a two hit skull break with simply attaching a hugger to someone twice. That pretty much puts them out of the round for a while or forever depending on how medical is. It would still do damage, still have a penalty, everyone should be happy. It just won't have potential to take marines out of the round after 2 runner zerg rushes or carrier spam.

Maybe instead give a chance to burn the host and the one pulling off the hugger, from the hugger getting damaged and leaking acid.

I would rather see hugger carrying removed entirely. Removing skull breaks would just mean there is no consequences for getting hugged in the first place. You can already tank huggers given a bit of luck.

But replace the brute damage with acid burn damage. No broken bones taking you out of the game for 30 minutes, still somewhat lore-friendly, and xenos still inflict damage with their hugger spam. Everybody is happy.

It takes 2-3 huggers to break the skull by removing them (Providing that your head isn't damaged already)
