Welp, I'm back from work and am ready for another session of Colonial Marines. I haven't gone CO for awhile, so I think it's time to do my part and step in to lead my marines to victory or a dignified defeat. I think I'ma go CO for the next few rounds and see how well it all goes. Might be quite nice to get some more CO rounds under my belt and take advantage of my whitelisted privilege..

After a single round of CO

Holy fuck I'm exhausted in more ways than one, I wasn't expecting to have to do that much work in one round, all the while dealing with insane antics and being insulted constantly despite my efforts while juggling everything. Being CO really takes it outta you, I think I'm gonna just chill and try a simpler role for the next few rounds to unwind and enjoy myself instead of going through all that frustration for another round.

I think this reflects how a lot of COs probably think, really.

So here's an embarrassing moment from me.

So I was playing my first round as MP at lowpop hours, where the CE was forced to command cuz there was no officers beside 1 PO.

Things were going mostly good for the majority of the round, made a new friend as well as keep the XO(he joined later on) and the CE from getting on each-other's nerves too much. I played mumblety-peg with the CE, had a generally nice time...

And then the XO got reckless and actively began making bad decisions. The PO got pissed by this and went into the Bridge with a gun in her hand, which caused the XO to hide behind a glass door and pull out his shotgun.

The CE was standing on the side trying to keep people calm, and then I ran in and played peace-keeper. Both of them tried framing the other for violence and ended up inciting a mutiny though I pointed them both out for lying. The marines began to break the windows so I went out and told them to calm the fuck down and they aim at me. I play it cool and leave, and a marine rushes for the bridge so I pull out my shotty trying to command him to leave but I accidently shot the poor bastard... put him in paincrit.

I freaked out and hid in Bridge while the marines shot at me and then they broke in and killed all of us except for the PO. The aliens boarded before I could get cloned.

I apologized in OOC afterwards and felt like a genuine dick for doing that...

Half hour protection we began to come upon the river. And then crossed over the river on talford. There we remained with our unit. From time to time there is some creature from the darkness and ran away.

15 minutes later. The creature decided to take our tableford and start attack. I their weapons had shot all the bullets. It was a very bad time. I couldn't cover my specialist.

See the crusher, he runs right at me across the table... I barely dodged his carcass. And then from screaming. At this very moment. Specialist gets SADAR with armor-piercing charge.
Shoots. And at that moment I got up... the Charge flew past me and hit the crusher.

We strayed. A series Rush their hive. And again I'm falling from the clutches of the creatures. And again, a shot. He got right into my carcass armor-piercing charge. Whether a bug, but I just fell in crit.

Medic policy me and we won.

I played BO on snow-colony when it first appeared my SL threw an OB down and told me to put the offset to 10 I put it to 10 and turns out going past 5 bugs it well at that time it did, it landed directly on the whole squad and a bit of another, I literally decimated the entire operation-.. and I was like well shit that was fun.

I was bravo SL Elliot Riggle, and i got FF by Rusty with buckshot, so i was dying in that moment, but i pay my respects to the monkey properly, 5 minutes after that, i was on crit waiting for rasp landing, i pass the next half of hour in medbay in surgeon room, then i died. (Dont know what the surgeon do, but i died). And i got clonned, but i will never forget coronel bananas... F

So, uh, i got trapped in the engineering, in a 1-tile wide space that was blocked by a sentry gun's frame (My 'thanks' to that maggot who was constantly turning it off) with 3 ayys laughing at me. And then i noticed the bag of chem-nades made by researcher, that i left right in that corner earlier.
