Funny, Embarrassing, and General OMG Moments

I kinda felt bad for Bill because the moment he turned up as admiral, everyone started shrieking and cryoing.

It is indeed depressing. When carson is in charge, you have 2 groups:

Group A: the people that assume he is a bad Omen and either quickly cyro or bitch about him throughout the round, or...

Group B: The people that kiss his ass and polish his boots every step of the way, treating him like a golden god simply because he is an infamous meme and desperately wanting to become his friend to feel cool.

Sometimes you have a mix of the two, where a person is praising him one moment and then defacing him the next. I honestly wish this would come to an end and people could focus on what is really important, and that is being a good marine who doesn't stir up shit because memes.

Yeah I see that shit occur everytime Bill takes a leading role of anything. It sucks to see that shit happens to ol Bill cause hes not even a bad SL at all. Bill gets the squad from obj to obj just fine

I don't know. As CO, he's - really - a meme. I guess. I've mostly seen horrible, horrible losses under him but I don't think it's fair to freak out on the guy. I just try to be friendly and do my job to the bitter end.

You can NEVER blame the CO, because the CO never has direct control over the marines. So if a flanking failed, it's the marine's fault. If a CO orders a place to be manned and fortified but the marines just slip from their duty to go fight in front lines, it's the marine's fault. Alas, people think that a good CO is when he makes the marines win the round but actually what's making them win the round is either the Xenos are retarded af, or a pack of robust baldies show up outta nowhere to fight these lowlife fools.

You can blame the CO however when they start executing marines for petty crimes, lockdown the hanger and tell marines no retreat or you'll be killed, along with my most hated, not letting civilians use escape pods. That's just dickish.

Civies using escape pods is something they should always be allowed to do no matter what. Even if the MP's have to taze 20 marines trying to get in the pods civies have the right to a chance for evac. It's the right thing to allow them the option to RP getting the fuck out of there even if no one takes it.

Don't let get me started on marines evacing tho. Those pods should be shot down.

Well I decided to do some old school organ repair since I was doing some bone repair on the chest anyway. It's really surprising when you still have right leg targeted from your last surgery and his leg just suddenly flies off from the circular saw... Whoops...

A little weird, yes, but also flattering.

Nothing makes you feel like a star than having 20 people following you around in ghost form, wondering what you'll do next. It is the reason why I try to put on a decent show as a pred, both in and out of combat.

Ah, that happened to me too! Max Terry was the only one to run over to the other LZ, LZ2 while everyone else in DS1 was being killed by xenos. I made it, and was the only one to survive. I then, ran to the pods alone, welded my door, and took off, giving a final speech... I was then known as Bill Carson V2.
