Holy crap we made a mess that round. We didn't win sadly, persay... But we did beat the xenos down to a single hunter, who spent the round running out the clock, resulting in an alien minor.

I still view it as a personal victory, if only because we kicked so much ass and killed 5 queens in a single round. MORESO with handicaps!

Not that the major/minor system is in place these days but the no queen timer was a Marine Minor I recall. Alien Minor was when marines evac'd.

Damn, that was a really good round. After i kept calling it the 'Somme' round, since both sides were bled practically white. I like to think we beat the xenos by choking them with our corpses.

Historically (As I recall):

Alien Major- All marines dead/infected/hiding/space tiles
Alien Minor- Evac pods dock with evac shuttle before other round end conditions trigger.
Marine Minor- Nuke detonated
Marine Major- All aliens dead/hiding/space tiles

Then the no queen timer got added, and I don't recall how that played out as I didn't see it much, but I believe it was simply considered a Marine Major.

I think Command didn't even drop us until 12:38? It was an interesting round that didn't turn out like I expected!

Yesterday, I had an NCO round where marines managed to get a marine minor. Today (as of this writing), I had an NCO round where marines got a major. You know what these rounds have in common?...

... They both involved logistics being awful.

Holy crap, Both times, I couldn't believe we won despite having such awful logistics, where you could put in a request for supplies and only receive part of it more than HALF AN HOUR LATER. Considering marines need good logistics to be able to hold off the swarms of xenos, it baffles me how we were able to achieve some form of victory.

Meanwhile, you have rounds where cargo is on the ball, but the NCOs never bother to ask for supplies until it is too late... *sigh*

Yesterday, I was a charlie medic and my SL got infected and was coming to the LZ on Big Red. The POs this round were horrible, I ended up waiting 15 minutes just to deploy, only to have LZ2 invaded and have to wait for DS1. DS1s PO was legit retarded, waiting about 5 minutes planetside to finally come back up. We were on a rescue mission for my SL, and knowing he was infected, I was coming down with a stasis bag in hand. At this point I was waiting 4 minutes and most likely 30 seconds for this fucking slow ass PO to launch after getting orders from command, knowing that the SL was down there infected because the CO made a big fuss about it.

Five minutes in waiting for this crappy fucking PO to launch with my SL waiting for DS1 to get to the LZ, I got out of the DS and walked up to the cockpit. I said, and I quote "Can you please fucking launch you donkey?!" Because he has already gotten multiple orders from command, even in general comms to fucking launch. I wont reveal this POs first name, but his last name was Davidson. He fucking looks at me, says "Suck a dick" and starts to launch. He then closes the shutters and flies away. You wanna know why I hate crappy POs again?

In fact, this cunt took so long, that my SL bursted while standing there on the actual LZ to get crushed by the DS, only to fucking burst while waiting, and the DS crushed his dead body. When I called him retarded over dchat he decided to attempt to defend himself, saying that the cool down was not ready yet, and that even if I went down earlier, he would have bursted. He was lying about the cool down part, since it took 5 minutes, and he had both of the upgrades in his ship... but not only not should you act like this cunt PO, you should learn a lesson, that if you fucking launch earlier, without making the fucking people commit SUICIDE at the LZ, then you might have a better chance of not being looked down upon.

One of my longest lasting rounds happened today. I deployed in Delta, and heard a predator laughing up north of engineering. I went to go check it out, and got e-sworded in the chest, 3-4 times... a medic healed me up, and I went down south, where another predator decided to attack us... and I got nail gunned in the chest 2 times. I went to chase the pred after being healed, again, got hit by an SMG bullet once, and we pushed the pred together, as a squad. The pred then initiated SD, and I was still standing right next to it, trying to kill it. It exploded while I was standing next to it, I thought it was lag... because I was still standing. Turns out, everyone around me got stunned and hit by the explosion, but I was perfectly fine! Didn't even fall or take one bit of damage, even thought I was standing right next to the predator! So, I then went east, saw ANOTHER predator, who said he was impressed I survived, and ran off. I went to go find him, 1v1'd a boiler and won, got pounced by a hunter and slashed 4 times, slashed by a drone twice, set on fucking fire, limped my way into the Nexus, got OD'd by tricord, then fucking charged by a fucking ravager, and yet again, limped by way out of that, and collapsed at the LZ where I was evac'd. Pretty standard SS13 round to me.

This one happened a while ago. I was an MP, and just got rotated into brig duty. I arrived there, saw a timer was about to finish, and was getting ready for release protocol and whatnot, then, it hits zero and it resets. I go over to check it, and it had 1439 minutes left of timer. 1439. That's almost a whole day. I'm still confused as to how you would accidentally set the timer for 24 hours.
