Greatest moment in an infection round had to be when zombies were gonna flood into research, so I flipped a table and rested under it so none of the zombies saw me. I got snagged later, but quick thinking saved me an extra 5-6 minutes.

Patch myself up after last attack and revive the other doctor after he died during his last attack to find a poor PFC with no arm and tons of fractures. I scan him, lo and behold he's got an embryo! Thanks for telling me! So I pull it out, print out a new arm for him and fix a couple bones.

The Normandy is on collision course... you gotta be fucking kidding me. But oh well, I'm a doctor. I don't have the answers brother, I just work here. I'm doing my thing when this happens.

Did fate spare you from the dropship or lock you in a room to wait for a slow agonizing death at the hands of xenos?

Nah, I didn't know what to do I was in a state of disbelief. So I sent a message to admins basically just wanting a witness to what happened. Feweh opened the wall for me, but not more than ten minutes later Marines won.

I walked through the wall and into briefing and sorta just had that Omaha beach scene from Saving Private Ryan moment as pulse rifle fire barked in medbay. Didn't get a fucking scratch.

Quite frankly, I'd like to believe a fountain of luck spilled from the gibs of that PFC on the table there and touched the grace of the Almayer and her crew.

It's the bad blood event that was held a few weeks ago. no less than 8 preds participated, and deadchat was turned off the whole round due to the salt.

Oh shit, I remember those pictures!

The first one shown was when me and chubs (as predators) managed to find two surviving marines, which he wanted to make fight each other. But when I came over, I realized one of the people he found was a marine that earlier charged me to save his friend, which I considered a very brave action and thus quiet honorable (and he did this with a bootknife too). I almost killed him earlier, but sadly his friends came and saved him. Because of this, I spent time talking to chubs about what we should do, considered bringing him aboard the ship to give him a proper fight and finish what we started, only for the xenos to ambush us and ruin everything.

Later on in that round, I found his dead body, and out of respect gave him a coffin and left it to a marine to return to the ship for proper burial.

The SECOND picture was indeed a bad blood event, just as we were boarding the ship for the final battle. I'm the predator with the marine cap, that I decided to wear because eh, fuck it, bad bloods don't respect the code.

One memorable moment during that round was when, after leaving the SD room, I charged out into the hallway into a group of at least 4-5 marines. I swore I was dead, but I managed to plow through them all through sheer luck, and then I think I teleport off the ship before it blew up. I think... It was a long time ago, so it is a bit fuzzy.

Yeah, I was that marine. I eventually charged at a drone and then a crusher with a boot knife and got acid sprayed all over me, then I retreated to the river and I eventually got back up from my wounds and saw you coming over with a marine.

Shame that the aliens had to ruin it.

Round was going to shit, Marines despite outnumbered the aliens 1 to 3 was being beaten soundly. Xenos made an amazing come back, and managed to drive them to CIC and SD. PMC's spawn as an ERT, and since the CL was already gone, had no real objective. They decide to go to CIC, cutting their way through the bottom deck, until they arrive at the CIC to find the aliens killing everyone. Spooked, they run back to the SD (having saved the CMO beforehand by pure chance). The 5 PMC's along with the drunk CE and the CMO hold the line, priming the rods, and activating the SD. PMC Major, ship is blown to hell, Marines shit the bed and almost lost before they got there.

Same round, there was FF at the beginning. I pushed Max a bit because he was down early (We were leaving in squads of two), things escalated a bit, someone stole his shoes, someone shot him, and then he pulled a pumped up kicks on the Alpha squad, leaving 4 injured and one dead.

He was then imprisoned for his crimes, where he was one of the only two people to actually escape the station and survive. Was he... truly the hero of the story? Having to endure bullying by all of the other marines, surviving the devastation of the planetside, and then making it out alive to tell his grandchildren?


Of note was the Marine FF that round. Besides everything surrounding Knight, there was also: A OB that hit like a dozen marines directly, an alarming number of smartgunners with IFF off, and people throwing grenades and flamers around wily nilly.

Pretty sure i was xeno that round. That defense of SD was solid as. we had lost so many fighting through the upper deck i think it was about 25:70 when we boarded.

I had an intresting round. I was a spitter who kept messing with alpha squad to the point that 4 of them just started hunting me down. I had really low health at this point when one of them stopped movng for some reason, and I took advantage of this by grabbing him and using him as a meat shield as I ran off. The other marines actually shot him to death. I eventually died when I needed to go so I charged into the middle of the marines and died after they kept shooting one guy that was near me.

Also, I observed a smartgunner knocking a marine unconcious by hitting him over the head with his smartgun while trying to shoot a predator that wasn't even behind the marine anymore. If I remember correctly the predator ended up dragging the guy who the smartgunner knocked unconcious away, only for the poor marine to bleed out.
