So this was a screenshot I found back from the Christmas time event....
Quick backstory. I was Charlie SL. Charlie and Delta were sent to LZ2. Upon landing we heard screeches and roars. Disturbed we set about opening up the west blast doors of LZ2, setting up cades, and having the appropriate squad move out to secure and fix TCOMMS. Upon opening the cades we encountered xenos and tried pushing forwards but spitters and T3's hampered the way and we lost a Charlie marine so we fellback to LZ2 and held there. Of course we didn't have any Lts on our Overwatch so Command never knew what was happening to us....By the time they realized what had happened we lost LZ2, had brief case of several xenos on the Almayer as they got stuck on DS2, and then had a amazing round of the Xeno Queen (Blood for the Blood God) taking DS2 and the whole hive up to the Almayer.
I can't remember but I think marines actually won the round later after a huge, if drawn out, battle that moved back and forth between the planet and Almayer.

The below never finished Need E is because a retarded Delta wasted the ONLY crayon on graffiti and we ran out halfway through writing Need E on the ground. Our hope was a Lt would actually look at our cams and see the desperate writing on the ground. Not a single marine made it off that LZ alive or was alive. Around twenty to thirty marines died. The reason for the lack of bodies should be obvious in the second image.





Final Note: Image two was taken after Image 1. A new queen had risen and placed all the eggs there and elaborated on the hive there. Subsequent attempts by marines to win the planet were failure I believe. Still I think the marines won this one in the end. Was total a 2-3 hour round

I remember that round awhile back. He was already down during the duel, and you came in and tore his head off while I just stood by, watching first in amusement, then horror the very moment his head came off. And all because you wanted your arm back, of all things.

This round was fun as fuck, I remember hearing that boom and me going oh shit, my squad's dead. I somehow never got infected after getting beaten up on three separate occasions until I was left to die on the side of a river.

Last night I was a observer during the round while I was in my university coffeeshop, studying. ERT request popped up so I clicked it. I spawned in as PMC leader. Super excited. We arrive, xenos on the ship, we run to the front. I accidently step in front of a marine who had a buckshot shotgun. Instacrit, broken bones, sent flying. I get up, grab my gun and walk away. Suddenly a crusher flies onscreen and runs me over, instakilling me. I didnt get a single shot off with that badass rifle they give you.

Commander Bill Carson was brigged, marines gather outside brig demanding Carson's release. A marine disarm a flamer-welding marine causing the flamer to go off, starting the fight outside brig. MPs got beaten and held brig. After a brief stalemate, marines supporting MPs fired upon marines outside brig, but was driven off. Remaining MPs in brig released Bill Carson and Bill went to CIC, cue the fight between supporting and rebelling MPs and SOs. Soon enough, aliens joined the party as well.

Upon arrival to the cell, Commander Carson even tried to strangle the prisoner in full view of another MP, who found it highly suspicious. Anyone who spent any amount of time talking to the prisoner realized that there was a horrid cycle of abuse occurring, and that Carson was likely trying to cover up his sins with his requested execution. The crew started to grow suspicious of their Commander, and as to whether they were doing the right thing.

The round climaxed in the execution chamber, where the marine-slave was ordered to be executed by firing squad for the crimes of being a CLF transvestite - and later, a gay UPP spy. A somewhat inconsistent story. When Carson gave the order to fire, some of the MPs broke rank. With the number of marines waiting and wanting blood, the fighting among the MPs quickly spread to the marines.

Two sides formed: one in support of Bill Carson, who had now been arrested at this point - and the other against Bill Carson, who wanted him deposed from his throne. This is when the internal infighting started. Gunfire across multiple levels. The ground battle was lost during this time, and so, the aliens boarded the ship.

The prisoner eventually escaped with the Corporate Liaison on one of the remaining evacuation pods.



And that's the story of how one unarmed gay UPP spy was somehow partially responsible for the complete destruction of the USS Almayer. Mission accomplished.

I suppose standing in front of a firing squad to save the life of what, from my understanding at the time, was an innocent man only to later find out he was a prostitute assassin after I had died trying to stop Carson from taking the CIC is one of my more embarrassing moments.

So, not exactly an OMG moment, but an SO called down an OB on like the marines, he RPed it well by being in shellshock himself. I was CMP, the CO gets me to arrest him and so I do, he basically requests an execution for himself over the colossal muck up, CO comes down asks for the Execution, I say yes, because he killed like 14+ marines. LT is sitting in perma writing his letter home and a letter to Charlie (He was Charlies OW), really emotional, felt bad for him because I knew d-chat was going to be an unbearable hive of salt, more so than a League of Legends game. So I was hoping to talk the CO out of the execution and just keep him in perma. Doesnt work, goes for the Execution anyway, feel bad, ask for lethal injection as a more peaceful way to go.

Comes to the time, more emotional convo between me the LT, the CO and the CMO. Ask the CMO to prepare Chloral Hydrate, not entirely aware of the lethal injections cabinet in the execution room (cus who uses LI anyway) So, comes to the big moment, the CO opens the lethal injection cubpoard... Aaaaaand, QUICKCLOT, so many syringes and autoinjectors of quick clot. After injecting the SO with two injectors and nothing happens everyone is just rofling OOC. The CMO then uses the Chloral Hydrate and RIP to the SO.

Pretty damn good RP all around, though it was somewhat sad that he died. RIP SO. RIP Marines who died in OB.
